What controls boost pressure on 07 S? installed jcw turbo, accessport tune, upgraded exhaust, intercooler, alta recirc valve, silicone turbo pipes. over boost occurring under 4,000 rpm, boost pegs 24 psi then over boost kicks in cuts boost and power. what sensor inputs could affect his, also what controls boost pressure? is it all electronically controlled through ME?

 

Not sure its probably the electronic boost controller but they sometimes have this issue you need a boost valve to fix it. you needs this i have one works great

If the wastegate never opens, boost will build continually. Have you checked the WG system operation?

 

Yes figured out the problem the wastegate linkage was binding. Thanks
