Are you sure the midpipe is the right side up?

 

that is shipping damage

 

I tried the y-pipe both ways and I'm sure I had it right. I installed the system and the passenger side muffler, and everything fit perfectly as pictured here, so it was definitely just the drivers side muffler that was welded wrong:



I went to the exhaust shop to have it fixed and everything ended up working out. The piping was cut in two places and were opened up to make slip fit connections which were then welded together once everything was lined up. A new outer hanger was welded on as well to make the muffler sit level, as the old hanger wasn't going to work. The bracket between the tips was also welded together to make sure everything was snug. Luckily now everything is fitting right without any rub. Here are some of the modifications made:

I definitely will, I planned to go for a drive to get some clips yesterday but I was too busy installing my boost gauge.

I'm not finding a resonated flanged system on eBay. Anybody know a seller or where to get one? I'm also looking to have tips that aren't blue.

What tires n wheels did u run?

 

enkei RPF1 16x7 with re71-r's 205/45/16

I have a set of 15x8 with re71r 205/50/15 but they are not legal in d-stock, I do think the 205 on a 8" wheel grips better, gut feeling. They do stretch a bit to fit

 

I know this is an old thread but is anyone running an cheap ebay system with 3" tips. The only kits I can find with a resonator have 3" tips. I just don't want to have to cut anything or melt my rear bumper cover. I guess if the non resonated systems don't have much drone than I won't worry about it.
