Drivetrain canned tunes for 03-04 that pop like a 5-6?

there any canned tunes for 03-04 that'll pop/burble like the 05-06's do?
building something to autocross/trackday without putting my 135i through the wear/tear/risk so I am weighing options, there's a significant price difference between 3/4 and 5/6 cars
not sure I really get anything more out of a newer car other than the factory tune burble/pop
planning a catback, injectors, ddm intake and a thumper head for the engine, along with coilovers/sways and some light rims/sticky tires

The fuel overrun tuned into the 05 & 06 ECU does nothing other than make the car sound cool.
Having said that, the 05 & 06's are superior cars in many ways. Shorter gearing, supercharger rotor teflon coating, interior build quality, 7hp increase, and most importantly, they introduced the LSD option in '05. All of these changes are significant to your intended use.

Most important for me, I would trade lsd and 20hp for the angry burble and pop
Does a big valve head and injectors require a tune and/or does it give up that extra fuel burble?

What Mr. Chill said is true about the superiority of the 05/06 cars. One consideration is that you may actually get better results from the gearing of the earlier cars. At one of our local tracks (Pocono East) there's a short infield straight that tacks out third about 60 feet before the braking zone with the later gearing, necessitating a shift (or a raised rev limiter) to take quickly. The earlier gear box has the legs to get you there without shifting. This has also been the case on some autocrosses.
I'm ok with either gearbox, a .1 second here or there is not that important to me, but the burble/pop angry sounding mini is what matters to me
I already have a 135i if I wanna go really fast, it's so fast it's not as fun as my wifes justacooper, I also dont want to modify it where I wont want to drive it to work it already scares my wife to the point where she does not like driving it.
I'm getting an r53 so I can do all the mods I want without having to daily drive on those mods

Totally. It adds personality to the car; from MINI to MEANY.
A track prepared R53 might make you look at the 135i differently... I almost bought one, but ultimately decided that I enjoyed the MINI more, as strange as that may sound.

I dunno, my 135i has a tune and new summer tires, anything over 3/4 in first is just spin, 2nd it'll spin on a roll on. If in a low speed turn in 2nd a roll on will instantly induce drift it's a really crazy stupid fast car I am not srue why guys need to go all the way to 700 hp single turbo setups.
I owned a r56 S and an M3 at the same time, I sold the M3 and kept the r56 until I got the mini
Currnetly I own a r56 justa, the 135i and a 540i along iwth a jeep & truck when the weather is bad the 135i does not get driven in the rain ever.

when you get tuned for the injectors I believe you can ask the tuner to add the pop and burble in.
I love mine now that im near straight piped, I can basically have near gunshots come out, sounds real good and makes me giggle everytime. I don't have the head yet..... but it will be coming, although you say first is useless in your 135 but 1st in my mini is a tire spinner as well even with sumitomo htrz3

And to comment on Salty: My catless & header-equipped R53 would "gun shot" as well, and with traction control off, would totally spin 'em in 2nd.
Have fun!
I believe you I owned an r56s at the same time as an m3 and I sold the m3. I did tire of the horrible torque steer and I had an LSD in the mini
this time I'm keeping the rwd bmw in the garage too
