I've had the same problem... Just mess with the settings. Seems to default to that. Ive got it to work, but it's a lot of messing around. I've found no sure method other than just playing with it.

I know, seems like a flaw in the app. Sucks its a important monitor. I've erased settings and started over and it worked. My 2 cents, if you're running the JB just keep the octane up and your good. Wish I had a more solid answer for you.

I've never used torque but DashCommand displays vacuum as negative boost.

Does the gauge switch back to boost when you making boost? In other words does the gauge flop back and forth from vacuum to boost as the pressure in the manifold changes?

Most of time when you are driving the manifold is in vacuum.

Does the gauge type change? Or does the reading go negative? If you have an N14 engine you will see vacuum until you get on the gas and get the boost going.

Exactly. Go WOT and you'll see the gauge change over to boost instead of vacuum. I have the torque app for android and that's what it does.

The N18 only goes super negative during cold startup, after that they hover around -2 to 0 during idle and cruising.

So I can't get it to work for boost it is there but when it connects it turns to vacuum. I punch it and the vacuum just lowers itself. I never see boost. Is there something in the settings that sets it for turbo etc. Or does it just know. Sux.

Make sure the "Boost Adjustment" is set to 0psi in the profile. Also make sure you're using the "Turbo Boost and Vacuum Gauge."

Can't think of anything else besides a problem with your OBD adapter, but I wouldn't know what to do about that.

There's a setting in Torque to turn this off.

Go to the Torque Settings menu, click on "Units," and then check the box that says "Don't display psi as in/Hg."

Happy motoring!
