Anyone have updates? They haven't contacted me in probably 2-3 weeks. Getting anxious.
They're not replying to my FB messages anymore. Probably busy I guess ..

I sent them a message on Facebook and ask if they had a tune ready for my 2013 FJCW and this was the response i got. So........ still no real answer?

Hi, Yes I have an 1 month old JCW myself We can tune this via OBD so no ECU removal.
We are considering coming to Canada in 2014, we just need to hunt out some suitable shops for the Mini Product line, if you can recommend anyone please feel free. That may help speed up the process.
Mini Martyn.

Cool. Are they replying to anyone else? I'm not getting any luck. Now I hear that Vivid Racing has a tune for OBD on our N18 Bosch MEVD17.2.2. I'm trying to stick with Manic because of their Stage 3 and Stage 4. But waiting is so hard. I need a tune ASAP.

If you want a tune that works and can be shipped to you over night, you should look at BurgerTuning.com. I have had the JB+ on my 13' GP since it was 9 hours old and now I have 6000 miles. I run my car very hard and have zero hiccups. My AF and timing are perfect, while I did 250whp and 270wtq on a dynojet (wheel HP not crank). The JB+ installs in 20 seconds and takes 60 miles to adapt, if you still want a OBD Tune, you can sell the JB+ and recoupe most of your money. I car pulls very hard and shocks everyone that rides in it.
BTW BurgerTuning.com holds the world records for fastest 135i, 335i, 535i, 550i and now the M5/M6.
I would have sold my GP if I wasn't able to tune in that week. You guys are much more patient than me.

Yeah. I love the JB+. I've had mine since the first shipment Burger Tuning released us. Currently running 100% at 18 psi with an E85 Mix. That would be cool if we can tune for 100% E85 one day. I don't know much about the capacity of our injectors and fuel pump thoe.

I've also had the JB+ on my 13 mcs since the first 15 were released. Awesome power from such a small and quick thing! I just want more!!! Haha

Vivid looks pretty good because they can do custom tuning for you. But you have to provide them with dyno numbers and all the data logs. Not bad. I'm looking at DNA tuning and Vivid as possible suitors. Terry says he's not looking to produce the JB4 or some sort for the MINI. So I decided not to wait since he has no plans with that, especially with the newer models coming out for BMW this year. He's gonna be a busy guy.

As eager as I want a tune, I feel like I should wait for Manic's tune. I could probably sent my ECU to NM right now but I feel like I would regret it later when Manic does come out. I want a tune where I can move up the Stages. Manic offers Stage 1-4. Not sure if any other tuner would be able to support a Hybrid Turbo Setup or EFR Turbo setup, along side with cylinder head. Manic seems like the only company that would do what I want for the Mini. Waiting sucks now, but I'm just not trying to regret it.

I gave up on them since I found a custom tune with DNA. Very great price too so I can't wait to order that after March 8th. I'll give Manic till then to have something posted at least about their plans. They said it would be a few weeks last I spoke to them, but it's been way past that.

That's correct, I do. I told them what I wanted and they're giving it to me since John I believe that's his name, from DNA, said I can achieve the gains I want. I'm just waiting as of right now.

Cool let us know how it goes. Once Battle/DNA is able to tune n18's via the OBD2 port I'll order that day.

True. I wish DNA had N18 support. I just read through previous messages and Manic said they are coming to US in Spring. I guess we will have to wait a little longer.

So one of my Audi buddies heard me talk about Manic and he told me this. The revo platform of hardware which does their software also leave residual code. So that if another tuner goes to tune it bricks the ECU; a common complaint hes seen on many VW and Audi forums...

Food for thought....
