Driving untuned on aftermarket cam

I'm thinking about installing a RMW street cam before attending an RMW tuning party. Do you guys think it would be an issue driving 4 hours on the highway with a untuned cam and JCW injectors?

I drove a shrick cam without a tune for a month, no issue. I think catcam do need tune right away. Call RMW.

+1, call them to check, but the street cam should be ok.

Aren't the RMW Street cams the same as the Newman cam? Should be fine to drive untuned

A while back I was going to do the same. When I talked to Jan he said it would be fine to drive on it.

Yes and Yes the RMW/Newman street cam is plug and play. You will get optimal use from it with a tune though.

Thanks for the input guys. I ordered the RMW street cam and shorty header! I can't wait for the dyno tune in February.
