Strange problem on 07 MCS

Alright, I've done some searching on this and found a few threads but nothing that gives a real answer.

I have an evolve decat downpipe, nm exhaust, and an accessport stage 2 tune. My problem is, in the higher gears if I hit the throttle hard, at a certain point the car stops accelerating. The RPMs stay where they're at and don't move. Right before it happens I've been hearing a faint sort of puffing sound.

Like I said, I found a few threads about this problem but everyone had a different fix. Some say carbon buildup, some say spark plugs and coils/coil pack. So I was wondering if anyone has any idea what my problem is being caused by, and what a fix might be.

Thanks!

Tyler

Happens a little bit over 3000. Usually in the 3700-4300 range.
