NM torque arm squishing out.

Anybody else notice the the NM Engineering Torque arm inset is squishing out? I looked on NM's site and saw that they now give a support bracket with the insert. mine didn't come with that, so I sent them an email and the dropped one in the mail for me.

I put the car up on the lift yesterday, (yes, I have a lift in my garage, shouldn't everybody?...lol) and installed the bracket. It looks like it will help with the drivers side, but still doesn't do anything for the passenger side.

So now I'm looking at a replacement torque arm with a more solid bushing. How bad I'm am I going to be heating lift with a solid bushing there?

I have noticed it too. Almost like a third of the bushing is getting pushed out. I can push it back in but it will keep ebbing it's way out from the constant rocking of the engine when I'm pushing it. This is not comforting to me either. The design does not work.

I'm just going to fork up the cash for a BSH mount next year.

there seems to be much confusion and differences in opinion on these two modified motor mounts . I wish I could drive someones car that has the bad vibrations that some have experienced with the BSH, likewise they could drive mine

Didnt NM release a bracket that helped with this issue?

Have you read my post?

Yes they now supply a bracket, but it doesn't address the other side that does the same thing.

I have this same issue and nm sent me the bracket and it didn’t make any difference now i just have the bracket on but it’s still squishing out, I'm going to save up for the bsh hopefully before the next track season in April/May.

Mine was doing the same thing, but when I last looked (couple of weeks ago) it had worked its way back in - at least mostly back in.... Go figure.

No issues, no worries. Besides, mine was still effective when it was pushed out a bit.

I just bought a bsh torque arm from another member, so when I get it I'll take a pic of the squishy nm insert.
