Wondering how the Milltek looks from the back of the Mini and wondering if anybody can post pictures? Just trying to get an idea the size of the tips and comparing it to the others out there.

Thanks in advance.

here's the review from Randy at Webb Motorsports.... he has pictures of his install and the "after" shots installed on a vehicle. but at $800 a system, i wouldn't even consider this exhaust.

Yeah, what`s up with these insane prices!
 Are there any American companies that can produce a similar exhaust? I know the Magnaflow is inexpensive, but way too loud for my liking. They should copy the Milltek and sell it for 500 bucks. Afterall, is it not how the Japenese car companies started out?:P .

Paul.

well there are some lesser expensive systems out there... if you don't mind getting a one-sided exhaust, those (NRP, Quicksilver, Alta) are going for around $600 (i think i may go this direction).

i know the scorpions were around $550, but i believe BMP sold out of them... don't know if they will get any more back in, can't hurt to call and ask.

but i can't imagine why a good american tuner (TechTonics, for example), doesn't produce inexpensive, no-frills dual exhausts for the cooper s... i would think it would be a lucrative business with all the other exhausts raising their prices. but, if people are still going to buy them, you can't fault these manufacturers.... maybe we need to start boycotting some of these products...

Yes! Boycott! I`m serious, we can kill two birds with one stone. The American made product will be cheaper and we will produce manufacturing/service jobs!

I agree on the price increase B/S. When I got it, it was $699, and that was still alot to choke on. Apart from the price, I LOVE the Milltek. The butt-dyno is happy, the ears are happy, and the eyes are mostly happy (like the Borla tips better, but hey, can't win 'em all). These pics are also on page 12 of the link ABT posted above:

They look at bit primitive. I like these better:

That pic really doesn't do them justice. The tips have a tapered inner diameter that gets larger toward the back. 'Course, you may already know that & still don't like them.

I saw & hearda set for the first time last weekend. I like 'em.

yea, the tips are just OK looking on the Milltek. They look almost identical to the JCW cat-back.

The Dyno is more important to me, and that's where the Milltek kicks booty

Have any customers posted dyno results for the Milltek?

I'm kinda partial to my new exhaust (pardon my MCS' dirt as well):

i LOVE the milltek tips - everything about the milltek really... at $700 i would consider it, at $800 no way.

but anyway, i am going with the alta exhaust. it is tons cheaper for me, the tips look killer, and its lightweight and offers just marginally less power gains than the milltek. so i will bite. i will post my review when i get it.

andy, what kind of exhaust is that? looks like your car has an erection

also looks like someone stepped on your tips when they were heat-forming them!
