...... what? No aftermarket cupholder? Geeeshhh.
On the M7 front tubular control arms . I briefly was in contact with someone who has these. They also used H-sport spring. They are undecided on if they would recommend them yet and felt that they made his H-Sports feel like stock did.
What'ja think about this mod?
By the way, I know it's hard to keep track of all your mods, but you did not mention springs/shocks.

here is the latest on it.....
car is running too good.... wants to boost 30lbs and on these pistons that is a no-no.... it boils the tires in 3rd if you stand on it.... going on vacation tomorrow so no pics or dyno's til Dec
.
With the 3" exhaust and the single muffler.... loud is an understatement when at WOT
...... low end torque is abundant at any RPM.... I think the 300whp barrier has been breached

GO MINI talked to me about a week and a half ago. Told them about the turbo being put in. We were going to shoot it yesterday but the car wasn't done and now I am leaving on vacation til end of month. bummer
We're still looking at $4800 as the target price. It's not final yet. As discussed at helix13.com forums, we'll be at the shop tomorrow (Saturday) from about 10 'til 4 pm goofing off with MINIs. The TurboKompressor car will be here if anyone is interested in checking it out. We'll be installing a very trick bit courtesy of JLM, and doing some road tuning. If you're nice maybe Mark will give you a ride in the TKMINI. Being nice includes, but is not limited to, bringing donuts, goodies, bon bon, edibles, etc.

...and I don't mean a video of the donuts.
Helix today
I called from Atco and was going to come over on my way home but you guys must have wrapped up early.. Anything interesting going on with the TK MINI?
I wanted to meet some of the folks I see on here and hopefully score another spin.
At least I beat my best time by a whopping half second!
Andy, you have mail!

Update!
Heres a revised final list of components in the kit.
-Garrett GT28rs disco potato turbo
360hp potential
-cast exhaust manifold w / 5 year warranty
-Helix increased diameter pulley to lower S/C boost and parasitic drag and increase turbo charger boost.
-stainless steel 2.5 inch downpipe with integral 300 cell metal matrix cat.** this DP can be flanged at a full 2.5 inch or tapered to 2.25 to match the factory exhaust.
-custom silicone charge pipe
-cowl induction cold air intake system
-Turbosmart eboost boost contoller/boost gauge and pod
-Turbosmart BOV
-Psi-Fi Powerpaq engine management (fuel/timing/aquamist controller) w/ street and race maps
-500 cc direct drop in injectors
-Porsche quality fastening hardware
-all lines and fittings
-Aquamist water/alcohol injection ***Optional(lowers charge air temps approx 30 degrees F and allows 2 more psi boost on pump gas)***
-2.5 inch high flow exhaust system ***optional in testing, will have before and after dyno data vs stock exhaust***
-Depends diaper for the initial test drive
Anyone interested in purchasing the kit please contact Helix Minisports. we are going to try and get updated dyno(for the pulley change, and a few exhaust options) as well as track data in the very near future. The car runs clean as a whistle with very good longterm fuel trims and no CE lights/codes or driveability issues.

Video?
Guys.. let me know when you are going over for your new test runs.. I want to capture some video clips for everyone.. If I do it with my digital camera I can host it right away. I think everyone is anxious to see and HEAR this monster..
I can even just capture some general drive by clips etc instead of the "test" runs if you like. Just let me know when and where..

there was a guy videotaping the runs the last time at the track and he never posted the vids, kinda strange... You have to take another ride in the car its a little bit faster than it was before
I kind of liked the sleeper effect of the stock (well, one-ball) exhaust. Especially impressive was the absence of fault codes.
On the way to get cheese steaks "Wiz wit" I was showing off my MCS to a Helix pulley customer (he hadn't got his car done yet) and macncheese was sitting in the back. I floored it and my MCS pulled pretty nicely through 1st, through 2nd, into 3rd. Then I looked in front of me and saw the TK car disappear into the distance like I was standing still.
Mind you, this was on a closed course with parental supervision.
