Rmw!

I would like to thank Jan for the tune he did on my Mini! The drive-ability of the car is amazing and I was able to get 320 miles out of a tank! where before I was at around 270ish! (Results may not be typical) LOL

Really? I regularly get 340 to 350 with a 15%/2% pulleys, 550 injectors, cam and a Mynes V2 header with a four year old Mynes tune. When I install the FA53 program in the future I'm sure that I'll improve on that AND increase the power.

it comes from the dark side group

regardless an 18.5% increase in gas mileage is a good thing regardless. MPG always varies in how you drive the vehicle and in this case the customer got better mileage with bigger injectors and a better tune that fixed his issues with driveability.

Lol....
I guess karma is real....
To the op
My experance with JAN/RMW was similar...no issues, and am happy.
You can tell from my posts I am by no means a fanboy, but credit is given to any vendor when it is due...cars runs better than new, more power, more mpg, better drivibility...

And rotten tommatoes tossed when it is also due.

Thank you all! and Jan! I drive alot of street so to me that Is a huge improvement. I am also certain that if I kept my foot out of it I could get even more mileage. I should also say that the comparison of MPG between 2 cars should be done when they are apples to apples. The dimensions on the cam change the dynamic of the motor and the efficiency of the head as well. At the end of the day I am sure we both have just as much fun in our cars as everyone else does.

Yep been running an RMW tune for five years, lots of road miles and my fair shares of track days without one single problem from it!! As I've added more mods Jan has kept the tune up as we go, again without one single problem from the tunes or Revolution products I have on the car. If being very happy with great products and service from a company makes me a fanboy, then you can call me the number one RMW Fanboy and I'll stay that way as long as RMW keeps delivering the RESULTS!!

Congrats on your tune!!

Speed, I'm very glad that you are happy with your car I ment you no disrespect. I hope that you have as much fun with your car as I do mine. I was just a little taken back that a four year old tune was getting better MPH than Jan's new up to date canned magic.

LOl I put the jenny craig disclaimer in there anyway Last thing I want is people going back to Jan saying the tune that he did, did not yield 234.4 mpg like it did for that guy on the forum! Becuase we all know those people are out there!

Wait wait...I have a mileage story...

I owned a car for years and always checked MPG at each fillup. I always got 27 MPG. Then, I moved to Florida and kept thinking I was doing the math wrong because it kept coming to 33 MPG. Then I realized that since FL was so flat, I had over a 20% increase in fuel economy.

Since then I know it is impossible to compare MPG. People who live in flat places get better MPG and often in a huge way. Not to mention traffic which of course factors in, often by an even larger margin.

So, as they say, YMMV.

PS, now all you need is a destination. Even going to work will be fun.

Also depends on the climate you live in. During winter mos my tanks run in the 270 range but in the warmer mos 300+

What is limited with the software/hardware and what solution do you offer that is not limited in any way?

Yes, I post on other forums - and read other forums.

You are the one who made the claim - so I just asked you to support your statement. It seems like the lack of "full access" deterred you from purchasing it and you chose something else. I just wanted to know what it is you chose. The community would like to know what sort of options are available.

Thanks for your reply.
