I was curious if anyone has used the borla universal mufflers, and built a custom exhaust? I was looking at the borla turbo mufflers. Thoughts?

VIP Custom DP-back exhaust powder coated gloss black from the tips forward to the front side of the muffler. Attached to an Akrapovic DP = sweet bass notes!

Finally got the muffler put on and......well not that happy with the sound:(
It sounds great when peddling but when u let off the "burble" has kind of a tingy sound. As for inside u cant even tell u have it which is nice when driving down the highway at 70mph. Might swap it out for somthing diff but ima let it go for the 500 mile break in period. Any suggestions would be great

 

most new mufflers will sound tinny until you bed them in, back in australia we would put s/s rotorflow units on old school rx2/3's and they would sound really crappy to begin with, youve just gotta burn the sucker out

 

Thanks man. Ima wait it out cause other then the burble,she likes it. She wanted alittle deeper but I think it might have drone if it were deeper
