what do fuel injectors really do? yes i no they allow more fuel to the engine but wat are they really used for and when is the best time to increase them? with wat mods? wats the best injestors out there and how big?

Since the trolling has been done already, I will actually answer the question.

As you cram more and more mods into your engine, you cram more and more air into each cylinder. We all know that Gas vapor will only ignite in a "butter zone" too much gas and you get problems, too much air and you get problems. Stock injectors are pretty well tapped out at Pulley, intake, exhaust. Start throwing Cams, heads, headers, etc. in there and you get too much air for the maximum amount of gas the injectors can spray. At that point you start getting lean codes from your ecu.

If you don't want to get a tune right away, 380cc JCW injectors are able to be run on stock ECU and will support a few more mods than the stock. 440 and 550cc are both popular for people who are going all out, But they have to have a tune to even run. Believe Bosch is the manufacturer of the 440+ Injectors, but don't quote me on it. Just consult your local tuner for that.
