ECU tune or Chip?

wat is the best?
ecu tune?
Unichip Q?
GIAC tune?

can someone explain the difference between them and wat each of them do?

I hav a 06 MCS and i trying to figure out which one to do to gain the most horsepower and tryin to save som money

Custom tune is best for sure, but not if you are looking for economical.

Custom tune....even if you do it remotely!!
Mini's motors tend to vary quite a bit...similar cars with similar mods often turn in radically different dino results (more than most makes)...so you eant the tune to match YOUR car...and not the "test" car.
GIAC does/did have a good reputaion...mostly back from the days when gen1 tuning was kinda rare....but now the price is so close..why bother!!
