still some work to do to finish it up so I can get it on the dyno. Need to fab up brackets for the oil coolers for the Rotrex and engine oil. The cam in this car is the biggest one yet tested. As we are looking to get as much of the top end power to the ground as possible without the massive wheelspin we had with the TVS..... I guess we will know soon enough
Did the TVS make to much TRQ that the Vipec ECU couldn't control the wheelspin?
...all I seem to remember is someone being three seconds off the pace....
What can i say, I got a little gun-shy after the spin off the track and wasn't pushing as hard as normal. (BTW, you should have seen how much mud was caked inside my front left wheel! no wonder it was shimming so bad)

It's all good though.....just teasing a little.
....more excuses, all that horsepower left on the table. Tic tic.
It has a base tune for pump gas to run it all in. It is lower compression than Longboards and the biggest cam yet, in a Mini. It also has our experimental new piston shape/design. I don't have the meth hooked up yet and it seems it's losing boost through the caps I have on the meth ports as its only running 15psi. Should be closer to 20psi. Overall I'm happy with where it's at. 355whp and 258tq and we have ONLY scratched the surface of what it will/should do. Considering a Turbo R53 on the same dyno running C-16 and the waste gate pulled only made 375whp shows you how efficient this setup really is. You don't need to run around with $18 a gallon fuel to make this kind of power.

Its all good!
you better watch out..... he's thinking of going to Disneyland
With 20, it will be worth the extra work of trimming and cutting in the back so you can run a 235/40-17 size all around, every little bit extra of traction will help. Getting that kind of power down is going to be problematic.

Remember, this is in his GP which he said was going to stay stock
yeah, i've seen this in person, it basically sounds like a turbo, so very quiet til you get the revs going, it will never whine, but it will make power!

The whine is the only thing I miss about the supercharger.

I think that lasted about two months
LB
actually less than that
