Jan which flywheel and clutch are you running? I ask because doesn't the removal of the the duel mass add to the crank failure rate of the stock cranks in hard driving conditions?

 

OS GIKEN TWIN DISK. It's the 1st one ever made for a Mini by OS. It's on/off, they plan to give me a different pressure plate the next time we take it out when we change the differential settings.

2 of the other ones had stock flywheels that failed on the stock cranks

I saw this car yesterday at Thunderhill Raceway in Calif. Will post some pics in a few days. The blower is huge.

Yep, stuck my foot in my mouth on that one. I read so many threads, I lost track of this one. Just glad it's only 10 pages and not like 50 or so.

 

actually the supercharger is barely bigger than the alternator
but the car sounds great, no whine like the eaton just like a big N/A car
The stroker sounds like no MINI you have ever heard

Very cool. I always enjoy the videos you all post. Helps make the day go by better at work and increases the wish of getting to a larger track. I have yet to make it out to VIR.

 

I was doing a ride along in that video, and I gotta say THAT THING IS FAST!

If it wasn't for the Miata, R56, Mustang and Ferrari in the way it would have been even better. Would have loved to see how hard it can go on a clear track. Power, Brakes, cornering, everything is beautiful.
Although I can't wait to see what stoptech can do for it.
