I want the same numbers, and am looking at sending my turbo out once I get moved. I have all the other bolt ons for my current turbo, all I would need to do is have my turbo altered and then re-tuned?

Not the owner, I have a JCW turbo on mine.

And yes, in theory that's all you need to do. And then just hope the motor stays together, cuz it most likely won't for long, if history proves true.

Anything bigger than the JCW turbo, and I would not run it without pistons at the very least.

So I have read in your posts. I have been in contact with Mike@Techdivision since I am moving back to Southern Cal and will be local to his shop in Fountain Valley about getting some JE piston and Carrillo Rods installed in my MCS in the near future.

Updated dyno results after Meth kit and DP install. The car is not tuned for Meth so it is just the ecu self adjusting. you can look a few posts back to see my results from a year ago.

This was from Swift in April of 2011 when Jan was out there. It was a cool overcast day. Mods in Signature.

Dood this isn't a discussion thread. Please start up a thread with a link to here so that it won't get clutter up. Thank you that is all.

LASRGUY's 2007 MCS

Had a RMW tune back in November. Here are the results. At the time I was running 10/90 water/methanol. I was getting some boost fluctuations that I later traced to a loose retaining ring on my Forge diverter valve. Best hp run was 235hp. Best tq was 261. We settled on a map with 226hp and 258tq for now. I hope to get onto RMW's new dyno some time in the future to see how the car does when it's holding boost properly. I may have to get a new clutch first. Damn torque...
The car is a hoot to drive.

For you guys running above 210 whp (on stock turbo and pistons), how's the gas mileage on your mini?

Last tank averaged 38MPG done by hand calculation. Generally average around 36MPG combined.

Best was SLC UT to SO Cal averaged 44.1MPG

I usually get 27-28mpg combined. Maybe 32 on a road trip. I'm not easy on the gas pedal.

that's still better than what I would have thought. I was expecting low 20's with such high stages of tunes and all. i only average 31 right now so these custom tunes/fmic/full exhaust combos seem all the more appealing.

Seems weak for a JCW with a tune being MCS's are making that power without a DP.

DP? I was a little underwhelmed by the numbers myself however the car pulls like a freight train. We'll see what's up when I hit the track in the coming weeks.
