http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/prog24/mini.shtml

above is the web site to a popular programe over here in the UK. Last night they test drove a few modified Minis including the JCW and the 210bhp kit from Hartge (plus a few others). I didn't see it because my mum, sorry mom didn't rewind the video far enough before she pressed record. she did make me feel much better when she told me that they were driven to death by an expert driver. by the way, I am being sarcastic. I won't go into what was said to my mother at this point. Apparently the new 275 bhp kit won hands down so it actually is 275 bhp and wasn't generated by a faulty dyno kit. I am not sure if the show will be on BBC America but look out for it. It also showed some lambos being driven through my small village so that was some thing else I missed. Thanks mum!

p.s. the 275 kit is the mini at the bottom, so i have been told.

Judging by the front-mount intercooler, you're probably correct:

Usually you can find Topgear on Kazaa or the newsgroups. If I find it tonight Ill try and host it somewhere and post a link.

As far as I am aware you cannot get the show in the US. I love this show. I live about half my year in Europe and I try to never miss Top Gear on BBC when I am over there.

Chances are it will be on the net soon. I just watched one of the Enzo Ferrari that I just downloaded.

BBR is the site with the 275hp conversion...Price Fitted £14995 inc. labor

Is that the price of the upgrade kit plus labor?
If the cost of a loaded MCS in the UK is up to £19995 then that would increase the price to £35990!
Wow. That isn't very affordable. Can't imagine what it would cost to insure in the UK! Must be horrible.

Very true...

Not a lot of people are selling a 272hp kit either...supply and demand...

You could actually buy another MCS for the price of that kit. No thanks.
I think the only person who would want that is Juan Pablo Montoya, and he will be going off anything made by BMW soon. He has just signed for McLaren..

Good news for the MCS owner but what about our Mini Cooper none "S" owner??

All they have for the MINI Cooper is "Camshafts, big valves, exhaust system and PowerGrip suspension kit. I don't what they have to say at the end "TRADE IT IN FOR A COOPER S AND GET INTO THE FAST LANE!" That is said thing to say about our MINI's

No offense, but if you are looking for something fast, then you should have gotten the S...

Oh definitely. All Cooper owners looking for more power should immediatly go out and get an MCS.

I'm going tomorrow to put an order in ASAP...I need the power.

There is no listing for Top Gear in my local area and I have all the BBC channels carried on my cable network offers.

Having lived in the UK more that 5 years – it’s one of the shows I’ve truly missed since I’ve been back. A true bummer.
