Damn I was looking forward to the 20 odd results as well, I thought the UK EA was bad enough wanting us to drain shocks.....................

Sad Indeed...

I'm quite dismayed to think that one of our own blew the whistle. Given the supportive, collaborative, and affable nature of all of our interactions, it didn't initially cross my mind that a fellow NAM member could be the culprit. As was stated for Dan Marino in Ace Ventura, Pet Detective, whoever did this should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell!

Kudos to Checkers for his hard work and my condolences to him for this loss...

I'm in, I need to vent........I am SO pissed right now! Time to blow of the steam with some sporting clays...too bad the rats won't surface there, I'd love to yell "Pull" and see if they can get out of my range before they are peppered with bird shot (or maybe a RAT-SLUG)!

but none of these rats have the guts to surface anywhere, and no, they don't deserve their MINI's either....if they even own one.

Dam I just found out!
I was just getting ready for tomarrow's tune day.
Well if a FOIA is what it takes, then I will get to the bottom of this. I do a few of these FOIA requests for work, it does not need to be a participating party to get info. Although most report are vague we will see. I would like to engage whoever was the rat in some complimentary wall to wall counseling services and provide a free lunch consisting of a heaping helping of knuckle sandwich.

So what are the chances of ever getting your car RMW'd if you live in New Jersey and have an automatic 2006 "S"?

That is really sad as I was looking forward to seeing what magic RMW could work Nevermind, maybe you guys need to get phone No.s and organise it out of NAM so NO RATS can hear about it?

As someone who was not participating, but was following this thread just to see the results.. I am disappointed to hear this news.

I was going to use the feedback from this event to gauge if I wanted to make this next step.

My own feeling on this situation is grow up. One person's personal grudge ruined several people's ability to enjoy their cars further, wasted many people's time and money, and frankly stole people's own CHOICE to enhance their cars performance abilities.

I would understand if someone was dealing blow to a bunch of school kids, but this situation simply worked against what the spirit of NAM was all about.

Sorry to say, but one of the Rats may be part of the tune group. I would imagine this will continue. Whoever it is, will call to see if tune parties are going on in California. Rats always turn up, hopefully dead from rat poison.

Yeah, I'm hearing ya. I can tell you it wasn't me as I live in Australia and i'm not to fond of Rat Poison The situation is getting out of control, why does it have to be "Us vs Them". It is just like a school yard bash up. Let individuals make up their own mind on what they want to do. Like it was said before, the person they were aiming to hurt never got hurt at all. Just means he can keep doing what he was doing. The people that got hurt were all of the guys coming from a fair distance away to get a tune.

Maybe this is why the other party is jealous. Jan gets the tuning parties and he doesn't!!

yeah, this really sucked for me. Found out about it being canceled while on the road...hitting the oregon / california border. So up at 5am and on the road from Eugene, OR, only to have to turn around empty-handed...

I really wonder who had their cornflakes p*ssed in so bad that they would knowingly hurt a group of others. To me that's just childish. It makes NO sense. And yeah, like longboard mentioned, the cost for me of time off work, gas, and other scheduling costs...not gonna get that back.

So whoever the RAT is, Thanks. Thanks a lot. Glad you got my back on this one...

Checkers, I'm sorry this happened. I know you worked hard, and I really do appreciate it. Especially the call to let me know. You're a stand-up guy in my book.

Ok everyone has had their chance to vent however,

RESPECT
When posting, both members and vendors must ALWAYS be respectful of fellow members and vendors. Personal attacks, trolling/baiting, deliberate antagonizing, and flaming will not be tolerated. If you feel you are being attacked, report the post or private message rather than replying or flaming back. However, do not use the report bad post feature to "cry wolf" when you are in fact the instigator of the demise of a discussion. Doing so will result in an infraction or strike.
And

LEGAL
Posts relating to street racing, excessive speeding, or violations of other laws are prohibited. If you want to race, take it to a legal venue.
So I suggest that if you're going to engage in something that is illegal in your state it's probably not smart to advertise it on a public forum, especially NAM; and if you're willing to drive then perhaps an out of state venue is a more successful place for a tune, where it is legal; and less risk to your investment.
