380 injectors, JCW Re-Flash or a Different Tune

Ive read some threads on people wanting the Re-Flash with my mods (intake, alta 17%, alta cat back, colder plugs). Then some people say get the injectors. Others say it just wont work.

My question is if i get the injectors, would the re-flash tune them well enough to run better then stock, or would it not help at all becuase i dont have the JCW head. Because i heard around 190-200whp is where the stock injectors seem to give up. And i belive im around that horsepower (never dynoed). If not the JCW Re-Flash, what other programs are there that are good and can be installed by me.

I want to wait to get an RMW tune after i have a cam, head and header also. So im wondering if this will help at all till then.

You can run the JCW injectors without a tune. Get the JCW flash if you want to actually benefit from having them and you don't need the JCW head to benefit from the JCW flash.

-OR-

Go for a custom dyno tune from any of the tuners(Mynes, RMW, etc...) and you will really feel the difference. If you plan on getting those mods(head, header, cam) just wait till you get them then get tuned...hope that helps

The injectors arnt going to do much, if anything without a tune as i've heard so i would want to do somthing. Im going to get a dyno tune but later down the road when i have the other mods done. Right now im looking for somthing cheaper (around $300 or less) that would work with what i have.

The JCW is around $100 but ive seen so many different veiws on it that im skeptical.

Who is going to do the JCW flash?

Only thing the tune will do for the injectors is to modify the duty cycles, especially at WOT and if you have the rev limit raised. Otherwise the stock tune will handle the mods fine.

I would bet that if you got an RMW tune now (which you definitely should) you might be able to cut a deal with Jan on a second tune after buying $3k worth of RMW parts...

I used to run a JCW tune on stock injectors (15% / header / intake / catback) and only pulled peak 173whp. A dyno tune yielded 195whp peak without a rev limit increase. This all with the stock injectors. I'm not a believer in the JCW tune with stock head.

I would suggest to monitor your car's readings to see if the stock injectors are fine or not before you spend the $$$ on new injectors and a flash. I doubt they are at their limit at this point. Spend that money on the cam or save it up for the head and or header. Once you replace the head you will probably need to upgrade the injectors again anyways.

Okay so no JCW tune, no injectors till a head? Or can they give more power with my mods anyway?

Any other tunning programs you guys recomend, ive heard of MTH or somthing? Just somthing that will boost the power untill the RMW tune. Jan might give me a deal but ill have to ask that when i order the head and cam and thats not for awhile as of now.

Installed and ran the JCW injectors for a week and then got the JCW flash, yes the car did run better!! BUT that was to carry me to the real thing, a Jan tune which is the BEST!

Injectors by themselves won't do anything but decrease your mileage.. (you're not over the stocker's limits with your mods)

..and the jcw flash is pretty marginal itself. I'd say hold off until you're ready for the dyno tune - do the injectors then.
