Thought i would update this a bit. Car is still running great!

Im currently only running the Steinbauer piggyback ecu and i have recently bought some Schrick stage 1 cams and titanium valve spring retainers. My plan was then to get a fully emulated live remap to get a high level of torque and power in a very safe manner but i was informed of a company who offer a wide range of parts for the R56 ranging from BVHs to forged pistons/rings etc.
I have now decided to buy custom strengthened valves (inlet and exhaust) plus uprated custom valve springs for the exhaust valves as the standard items are the weak link in the head.

I was planning on having this all in by Friday however the exhaust valve springs need to be made as there is none left in stock and due to everything being custom made to the highest spec the springs will take roughly 4 weeks so when i get them i will get the cams/retainers/valves fitted in one go and then i will be off to the dyno to see how it all works with my piggyback.

And then comes the live remap

I got a few pics from the company who make these which compares the custom valves to the stock valves along with the uprated exhaust valve spring. Ive added info to the pic to illustrate what what.
