Drivetrain GT 28 RS - all parts ready to go :)

Wow, that bonnet cut looks a lot more involved than just a simple piece removed, but I'm sure it looks harder than it is. Thank you for pictures and videos, very helpful and informative!!
That's quite the custom job you got there with the plumbing and wires. Glad everything is working and is running great, sounds great.
I'm assuming no tune yet, seeing as how you topped it at 8psi. Hope it all goes well! Awesome job, keep us posted.
Try and have one your mates video while you drive, safer for one and you can focus better on driving! Cheers and good luck!

The 'plumbing' that needs fixed is the air intake pipe but the only reason it doesnt have a nice shiny metal piece in their is because i havent installed my catch tank yet

didn't think the factory ecu was too easy to crack. i spent the money on the the unichip and am hoping to reprogram on that but there is no one in Manitobe who does it. I may have to come out your way since there are two people in alberta who do it. Costs $5000 to set up and isn't worth it for a couple of tuners that have the system. I'm pretty pissed at Alta for dropping their support of Unichip. I did dyno at 224 whp on the chip so that is still good. Undesided which way to go when my turbo comes in.

You will find that you are going to run into problems trying to tune your car with a turbo kit using the UniCrap. Just ask mtuning3!

I use Viper Performance for parts like that. The intake pipe consists of 2 90degree elbows and one 30cm (length) metal joiner. The coupling piece on the breather pipe is a metal reducer from a local DIY shop.
Just realised you already asked about the DDMWorks, i sold it to fund turbo kit
They are great intakes though.

A little update on the Oil catch side of things.
Ive routed my catch can back to the intake instead of VTA via breather filter : www.photobucket.com/coopman . It looks quite good i think but should look much better when i get all blue breather hose for it.

I think you may be reffering to one of the earlier pictures where i hadnt put it back on before taking a picture.

I have two questions, probably silly ones but ok....
1) The original BOV was deleted. What did you do with the adaptor that the original BOV has on it?
2) The new BOV is just before the last intake, after the IC. The role of it is to reduce the pressure in the turbo, after each release of the throttle pedal. In this position, how do you ensure something like that? Wouldn't it be much preferable to use a BOV from an Audi S3 which is very easy to be placed in the original position?
Thanks!!!
