Matt, hate to say this but you need to relax too. The quote you cited was directed to ninjlao not yourself. And its hypocritical to first say that you have said nothing disrespectful about Mynes and then do just that a sentence later.

I think its great that the market for MINI tuning is getting expanding. I hope it pushes both camps to further excellence. If they can act with civility and respect, that will be an added bonus.

 

I am sure that there are lots of people who denounces the tirades of the so-called elite but scared to voice out a line for the fear of being treated the same.

at the end of the day. It's all good. Just that people are too aggressive about things sometimes. If they dont get what they want when they want they automatically resort to finger pointing. It gets old.

How many times over the years have I done similar things to what Mynes is doing. Yet people still argue the same dumb garbage over and over and over. "Do intercoolers work? Do they work on dynos? Does tuning really work? Do Dynos work? what dyno works? who's really the mother of god?" blah blah blah blah

I do really get a kick out the elite comment. As I pulled into the CC car show today nobody looks at a Mini . Now I just got back from riding my Indian MC. As I pulled up to the parking lot full of HD's they stopped to stare . No that makes me feel like the elite .

I dont know about that comment really...I used to go to the Scottsdale Exotic Car Club meets and there were always Carrera GT's and Aston Martins and the Porsche club was always present and when I didnt show..everyone was like....where is the guy with the blue Mini Cooper...that thing is awesome...

Didn't you buy Jan's Dimsport software under your company? Let's get it all out in the open. That is pathetic that someone has to use someone else's company to buy software. That should tell you something there.... He screwed over someone at Dimsport and was banned to purchase anything from them. I guess that problem is resolved since he bought the new infamous "scaling software". That's so funny...scaling software and making drivers for maps... so silly.

Oh and the other one, "trying to find the CAN messages for the Check Engine Light to be able to turn it off. This guy has no idea what he is talking about and who ever is helping him. That's impossible in the CAN world. Unless you want a blinky Check Engine Light.... 0101010101010101010101010101 something like that. That's binary if you didn't know.

 

You guys were doing so well, focusing on the positives of your capabilities and offerings and staying away from the vendor slimefest that befalls so many of these threads. Then you made the last post. I'm actually pretty disappointed. You do NOT improve my likelihood to buy from you with that crap. I suspect there are hundreds of others who have read all these threads who feel as I do.

In the complete and utter absence of classy outfits with classy management to buy my stuff from, I'll find other ways to spend my money.

If you really understood what is going on. You wouldn't see it in this way. I am tired of someone one using other people to voice things out for them. And tired of all people's ideas and products being stolen. A lot of other vendors I have spoken to and customers I have met here at AMVIV, it's shocking! If you have something to say, just say it. That's just me. And if anyone doesn't like it, they don't have to buy from us. Plain and simple. So it's nothing to be disappointed about. Just finally the truth is going to come out and if anyone can't handle that, don't read this thread.

It's funny we started the injector scaling stuff and tune some people cars using this function, and now he sends an address range where this is stored to Dimsport for them to make a map. Very strange, and if no one can see that? I don't know what to tell you. But I am pretty smart and we watermark code within the 512K section of the ROM and this value increments everytime some other software reads or write into the 64K area of the ROM. So I am going to visit the people and check the status of these ROMs and I will know. And even better if that person declines for me to check, then I would know where the ROM came from. Plain and simple, and I knew this would happen. Dimsport hasn't change any of their 11 maps for over 2 years, and now MYNES can scale injectors and tuned a few cars with it and now the "infamous scaling software" is out.

So... what would my losses be if I tuned for 87 gasoline? I mean.. you guys go from a camshaft to e85 then to the header. How am I supposed to know the delta if the fuel is different? That is like krauter math to tell me I just subtract whatever you gained to get the numbers I would make on 87.. My ecu would cut timing at a value only known to the ecu because it has it stored in there?

You guys suck, why would I buy anything from you?
