So you have three aftermarket parts on your car(not that it matters)...but you're an expert on MINI tuning, octane, engine building, etc...
No you certainly did not...but the quote below definitely implies it.
Specifying "MINI" in tuning shows you believe that tuning is significantly different for the MINI than all other vehicles.
Feel free to advise me how you would have gone about it, if you were curious as to their knowledge about tuning. Ask questions? Why noooo that'd be way too obnoxious.
Instead of coming into the thread guns blazing and screaming I asked indirect questions to gauge their knowledge of tuning, to make my OWN opinion. But next time I'll take your approach and jump into threads ranting about how this and that is BS. Thanks!
It's interesting how you base my knowledge on the fact that you believe I only own one vehicle.

And who are you? My boss now? Dude, if you don't like the way we do our tests, then do your own testing
I have no problem selling my headers here at AMVIV... apparently others don't have any problems with our testing methods.
O BTW, if you don't have anything contructive to contribute to this thread, feel free to stop posting anytime.

If you can deliver it personally I'd be satisfied with that. Shall I PM you my address? I'll even be fine with having it mailed to me.
You guys are too funny. We will continue to do what we do and all the BS goes out the window. Some individuals are getting butt hurt and scared that competition is coming along (i.e. buying new software to keep up)
None of us bought RMW into this thread, only if a car that we tuned has RMW parts, and we state that mod or parts for reference to the dyno sheet. We don't tell our customers to buy our parts only, if someone wants RMW, Alta, M7, or who ever parts... We tune their cars of what ever they have. Not going to hate on some other vendor's parts. Seems like that goes on a lot of this forum, and really funny. Particular to one vendor that everyone notices.

. Thats one of my lines Jason. Why are you getting all spastic on me dude?? I didn't say anything bad in any way but what ever.Buying new software? Oh you must mean the scaling software. Jan scaled Big Hows car yesterday and did some other little tweaks. Works great
I'm getting mine done next week.
Longboard
<~RMW parts and Mynes tunes.. with 91 octane.. PM me if you have questions - I have dynos pre and post RMW parts and my numbers follow closely to what the Mynes car has. I expect my numbers to change the same as theirs with E85 Also.
They made the same gains hp/tq on E85 as I did on 91, so that is why they say the delta is similar. Adding a CAI on 91 or E85 should yeild similar results correct? The E85 vs. 91 isn't adding anything to the car that wasn't there before. More air is not being pumped into the engine.

Why is it that if there is a new modder/supplier/manufacturer/vendor with good intentions to contribute to the NAM community always gets roasted by so-called elite? I see a trend. Competition is good for the consumers and from what I read, these guys know what they are talking about and has proven themselves in drags, tracks, & races (not only by dyno numbers). Peace.

People think that - whatever question they have can be answered and if it isn't, they get all up in arms about it.
Most of the companies that were listed as providing dyno numbers can be argued. Most of them don't even have in house dyno's.. Most of the time they just post claims. When looking at a pulley on M7's website for a R53, it does not have any links to dyno numbers compared to even a stock vehicle.
I think this thread is very cool - what Mynes is willing to do. They didn't even have to. They could have only posted about their header pre-post numbers, but compared to what? You want every combination known to man or what?
They are showing the deltas, every vehicle is different.
I can't be any more un-biased - I have parts from all vendors on my car.. I don't pick them based on manufacturer claims, I go off of what end-user's claim. I find people I can trust and listen to what they have to say. More people should do the same!
Be thankful there is a Mini community as strong as NAM and that there are vendors willing to make parts for our NLA cars!
BIG Props to both Mynes and RMW for both atleast giving a "f" about us.

(but i kinda agree)
If you would like to see the difference on 91 octane, then you should buy a Mynes header, dyno time, a tank of E85, a tank of 91, and tuning software and find out for yourself.
You guys?? Who are you referring to?

You guys...means you as well. Now Jan can scale injectors, make a standalone. It seems all these things have came up since we join this forum. For 2 years he has been telling all these people, and cars he has tuned, that he can adjust injector pulsewidths. Now he buys new software that the previous software can do right? No words of injector scaling or standalone in all his past posts before we join and announce it. Seems like he reads everything I am doing, how can I tell.... NAM has a nice way of showing you.
Tell your partner to find the Z axis fuel scale compensation table. It really makes the whole power curve nice and smooth. By adjusting this table, you can get the fuel trims close to 0 % and sometimes right at 0% even a cruising. Again it's called the Z axis fuel scale compensation table. I'll give you some more info in finding it, it has 29 points in the table, so he can make the drivers for this table. Your car and Big Hows will run awesome by adjusting this map. It will make the torque curve to hold all the way up to redline.!
