If you go to MiniCorsa.com you will find in the services tab that they charge $250 to remove and install a header but you should know this being that it's the place that you have used in the past to install headers. But I degress, I don't want you to pay for a remove and install at this point, that ship has sailed, I want you to refund my $850 for the header and send it to me along with a shipping label so I can return your code thrower to you. FOR I DO NOT WANT IT ON MY CAR ANYMORE!!!

If you go to Minicorsa.com and select the services tab you will see that they charge $250 to remove and install a header Jan has used this shop in the past so he knows better. As far as Alta, Madness or "who ever" they would be and are stand up vendors and when their product was defective they would refund your money if asked. They would also return your calls,e-mails and so on and not play these high school games. If you want to see what I'm talking about just click on Jan's profile and you can see that he is watching this thread but will not come in and do the right thing.

MiniCorsa routinely installs our header/cams for $350
the price you are seeing is if you buy the header somewhere else

I told you the header will be fixed and thats what is going to happen

I was getting 0420 codes with the race version RMW header.. spent $10 at exhaust works and the post-cat extension they put on has worked like a charm so far.
Thank you for your kind offer but I don't want the header anymore after all these silly games I would like to have Jan just refund the money that I payed for the header and give me a shipping lable to send it back to him. I wish he would come on this thread (instead of just watching) and do the right thing and prove that he is a good vendor and the stand up guy I thought he was.

This is somewhat confusing...if the customer buys an RMW header they can have it installed at MiniCorsa for $350, but if they get a header from another manufacturer Danny will install it for $100 cheaper?

Ok, so I got your header from you, I'm sorry Helix, and I take it to a shop and they charge $250 to install it, if you add tax the bill ends up somewhere around $300 sooooo Mynes is not that far off the mark........are they? But again we degress I don't want any removal or install money I want you to refund the cost of the header($850) and also send a shipping lable so I can send it back to you........do you understand?????

Have you considered any other brand headers once you got this problem sorted?

I have not really decided yet but Mynes is on top of the list. For me they are local, they know what they are doing and on top of that they are very easy to work with.Hummmmm isn't that something we want all the vendors to be like and not have to deal with all this high school crap.

Usually when I'm not satisfied with a product, I'd call/e-mail the vendor themselves and work it out. If they don't respond, then I'd call my credit card company to try to pull the money back or take it up to a small courts claim. All this whining and crying is so childish.

But the OP needs his headers now to pass the emmissions. The customer is always right especially when you paid $850 for a defective product. That's not including his install cost and the frustrations with the CEL.

So whining and crying on a internet forum helps? If I need something now I can make use of my time to be more productive then sounding off on a forum. And I can debate with you all day long about how the customers are not always right.

The guy has a defective product and is obviously not getting anywhere so why not...I think he has the right to be pissed

I never said he shouldn't be pissed, and never said $850 is cheap. I'm saying there's better and more mature ways to handle it.

Childish??? If you would go back a few posts you will see that I HAVE tryed to contact Jan about this with e-mails, phone calls and pm's. He will not e-mail me back, he will not answer his phone, and as the post says he did finally answer a pm with the three options. Childish????As you can read I did select the option that exchanges the header but as it turns out I have to wait for at least one month or more (he will not say how long) to get a replacement. Now I'm not saying that he can't fix his header but he is O for 2 with headers that throw codes that will not allow you to get thru emmissons testing and guess what I have coming up.....come on guess.....that's right emmissons testing. Childish???? If you would go back and read you will see that this car is basicly my daily driver so when I can't get thru testing guess what........go on guess......thats right I'm on foot OR I get the extra nice pleasure of going out and RENTING a car. Childish???? So instead of taking that option and risk I've asked for a refund and Jan disappears and will not come into this thread and be the stand up vendor he claims to be. Now a far as getting the money from the credit card company the charge was over two months ago so that option seems out although your right I'll check. As far as small claims court, the BBB and so on well those take time and well we have already discussed this testing thing. So the bottom line is Jan needs to quit using his customers as product testers, man up and give a refund and quit playing this silly, and your right CHILDISH little game.

I hope that he does prove the he is a good vendor by giving my money back. After all thats why I purchaced his header in the first place, because he was a good and trusted vendor. I guess we will see.
