Asking for the shipping may be a bit much BUT a refund or another header isnt unreasonable AT ALL.

I hardly think Patek Phillippe sends out watches that dont work or are faulty though. Beautiful watches.

not necessarily the watces that are always at fault. usually consumer error. which is why they don't pay for shipping because, what if they get it back and it was clearly set wrong or sized wrongly by the purchaser? Jan could also say, "hey you got a Mynes tune and not an RMW tune so any warranty the header may have had is now null and void, my header was designed to work with my tune!" but he didn't. kind of apples to oranges but whatever. i think Jan has been pretty stand up about this from what i've read here and elsewhere on this forum and others. bottom line is Helix is my tuner and Eric and those guys use RMW stuff and helped Jan with some testing in the early days so that's what i'm going with. and i will probably have a light or 2 come on because let's face it, the MINI or its ECU were not designed with RMW in mind. Nor were any of the aftermrket parts on my car. i hope it all works out for you in the end ez1putt.

What are you talking about? What does the fact that I was sent a header with a bad cat have to do with who tunes my car? Please explain. That is the funniest thing I have heard in a while. A tune preventing a vendor from fixing a bad part.

And for the record I am being a sent another header once rmw finds good cats.

i did not mean it literally, relax dude! like i said kind of apples to oranges. i was just stating it as an example of what could have happened, not necessarily with car parts.

lol. I am relaxed dood.

That arguement was ridiculous thats all. Tunes have NOTHING to do with it. To think that if you buy a part from a vendor THEN you are obligated to get your car tuned ONLY by them is absurd and nonsensical. Has nothing to do with issue, like most of this thread. That's all

Happy endings usually happen when you contact the vendor to voice a concern. Internet bashing won't help.

I see your buddies are out to help you from the east coast.

I was wondering how long it would take.

Maybe they play golf and can help you with that driver.

No, Jan has not gotten back at all. As far as selling the header I took it out of the marketplace,I could not sell a defective product to someone and sleep at night, it would not be right. Besides Jans having a hard time dealing with a first party, imagine what he would do for a second party.

Why do you keep saying Jan hasn't got back with you at all?? He gave you options right? Three different ones if I remember correctly.... Do you mean he hasn't got back to you with the option you feel he needs to? Full refund and a postage paid package sent to your house? There isn't a company on this planet that will do that

Seriously, if I were him I'd tell you to pound sand....

AZ... Why are you interested? Do you own a RMW header? Do you plan on it?

OR

#1- You want to keep a competitors troubling thread in the forefront
#2- Your the CEL warrior out to save those in need

Just curious

Yeap, Intense is right....RMW will never give in to ez1putt's option...But it'll be brilliant if they do...

As I said before ez1...if RMW gives in to you, and gives you back your money..then many more RMW shorty code users would want their money back too and that could spell trouble for RMW...

Dont forget, RMW is a company first and a tuner second.....They also need to protect their own...

P.S. Intense, im loving the look of your MINI....any more pics?

Dude, I just added Johnny's WCM wing to the back yesterday. God I love this car

I'll get some picks of it up soon. Sprained my ankle so I've been hobbling around and can't drive the clutch to well yet

Well you know what they say about curiosity
Didn't know that asking a question peaked your radar... seems it got you asking some questions too...

Are you particularly interested in my car to need to know what products I put on it? Do you REALLY care whether or not I put an RMW header on my car? If I do, theres plenty in the Marketplace to choose from... just have to figure which generation with which fix I need...

Seriously Rob, give it a break. It was a simple question, quit reading into everything and turing it around on me as if I am some doer of all evils...

If you must know, PM me, Ill send you my phone number and we can have a chat over the issue. Other than that, get on topic and get off my OO
