Im glad u have the money to do so....but if your referring to a header like the Janspeed.... it is in no waaay looks like a cheap rip off...

- It Sounds Amaaazing
- Its cheap (USD$400-ish)
- It rivals all more expensive units out there (and in many cases beats them in term of performance too)
- Comes with a Decat/Cat setup
- Does not throw codes

These are the main reasons I went with the Janspeed. The RMW Shorties were actually my first choice but since Im in Brunei (Far East) there's nooooo way im getting something that's seen to be problematic. Jan maybe doin all he can for you guys in the US, but could Jan ( and in any case, all vendors) actually help 1 guy that's situated 18k miles away from them?

P.S. Best Bang for the Buck and No Problems are the main factors on which equipments I go for. Note that I have to pay extra for international shipping unlike you guys.

That's been fixed on the current production units and Jan is working hard to fix the problem for those that have it on older productions units.

Not a sales pitch just showing how good it is .

I've had my street header for about a year now, and no codes have been thrown due to the header.

It seems to be Magnatlows ability to produce a cat that is consistent
We have found a new manufacturer who says their cats are OBDII compliant

For us here in the USA BTW...a Janspeed or the TIG welded GT Tuning version would cost us about $1100 US to get here.

I can vouch for Jan and him standing behind his product. Good and honest communication between both me and Dan @ Grassroots Garage. Just got the bung installed last week. Code free so far.

Nice to see you guys giving the to the headers. They really are the best header made for the R53.

Here is some cool news. RSR Motorsports are now running RMW headers on all three of their Gran-Am racing R53's .

Check it out:

and please justify why its the best into the following category:

- Cost
- Performance
- Build
- Usability (with other mods)
- Disadvantages? (Codes, Vibrations)

Really weird that some folks have these code issues and others don't. I've been running my RMW header for months now. Get an occasional P0172 rich condition code, but no others. Gonna get a retune soon.

Its not that weird. The latest headers all went out with the same cats. They all have the codes. Bung didnt have anything to do with it as I have it.

It is being worked on by rmw. It is the cats. I had the code cleared this weekend. That lasted 300 miles. SES back on.

hey hey hey...dont get angry for nothing bro...Just a question...as there are no mini tuners here in my country, I need all the info from forums like these....as I said, Im at a disadvantage cos I need to buy and import all my mini parts...So, I need to be sure all the time before I part with my money. So far Im doin pretty well (223HP) from my research from forums like these. So, Im sorry if ive touched your angry buttons..I really am...all my questioning is just for me...for me to understand and to point me to the right direction to making my car a better one....

p.s. I want the best parts for my car as well...but what constitutes the best? I think its a fair question dont you think? And if a particular part is not working particularly well (e.g blows up, rattles, throw codes, etc) surely that is not the best....Just my humble opinion...

Yeah, that's what I thought too at first... but seems like some of these issues may have spanned batches.... but I don't have hard data charted on what symptoms happened on what headers purchased on what dates...

Well it's strange that the codes went from p0420 to p2096.

Maybe this header flows too much exhaust.
