Drivetrain Historic dyno moment 24.1.09
ROFLMAO......... dude is delusional as usual

Paul's never met a dyno sheet or track time he can't bust a calculator over....
and come up grasping........

Paul, I think you forgot to correct my employee's traps to sea level standard. According to density altitude calcs, his best trap speed corrected to sea level standard would be about 112.x mph while Jove's trap corrected to sea level standard day would be about 106.x
If you simply enter the corrected trap speed of 112 for my employee into your spreadsheet, you get a correction factor of 1.002. Unless I missed something in your calcs...

multiply by 1.035060098
please Paul.... LET YOUR 9yr OLD do your calculations
they will come out much closer than your attempts
Paul, I don't understand what you are getting at. If you are going to multiply a dyno to dyno correction factor of 1.035 to your Thor Dynapak number, that number should be SAE corrected.
The 238 put up at Thor's is closer to a 231 in my rough calc, therefore your comparison to Churches puts it at a 239whp.
Please feel free to clarify your information for everyone.

Thing is I dont know what the correction factor would of been used on that day, If we would of found that link to that article we posted earlier we would of known what to look for.
Ours automatically corrects to SAE, I just thought all of tehm do that, I'll ring him today and find out what it should of been

very very simple... it will auto correct your power numbers
Cheers.
.Those items were named as a joke. Both are very "cool" but all you need is about $20, a Dremel and some of your time
.I like Cheap stuff as well.
Now back to your **** fight Paul. Which one are you by the way??

Here you have Brian's MINI which makes over 500 whp not doing well because he could not get good traction
I think this is a prime example of how a drag race does not indicate WHP.

1/4mi racing isn't about trap speed, it's about who gets there first in the shortest amount of time.... not the guy with the highest speed
I have used the same example in other threads but it some how gets "explained" away time and time again......... If you want a hp reading go to the dyno... you want an experiment in driving go to the track
"With VF setting the fastest FWD time, Fireballed! persisted in their attempt to set a fast time. However, traction was still proving an issue, even with the boost turned right down. The team estimated they were only producing about 330hp by the final run..."
15.32 @ 107.66mph

here goes that ugly calculator again

so Jove has 330hp? He went 108 right?
touche......
but as the article said.... "they guessed" that they were down to 330hp until the engine let go....
