Dyno result

This is the result from Jan's tune. 2003 MCS, 15%, 2%, JCW 380cc, wires, coilpack.

Very happy. Car feels like natural aspirated engine, off the line and long cruises. Nearly eliminated yoyo. Also breathes a lot better, can be heard from the Alta CAI. More torque across the range. Removed the dead spot on 5500rpm, HP peaks at 6300rpm and holds until the new 7200rpm redline. Better fuel mileage. The results are very impressive to me since I don't have any exhaust mods so it is very quiet and comfortable, yet putting 190+ hp on the wheels with a flat torque curve. Thanks Jan for your professional work!

here is mine with a CAI and 15% Cravenspeed pulley. Belt was slipping at the top end. I will scan the dyno chart later but here is a poor pic of it.

Here's a video of SPDinNY's dyno run.

And here's Jay's.

Good time and great results!

Now I'm sorry I didn't take any video of my car . Jan figured out that I actually was running a 19% pulley on my car instead of what I thought was a 15%. This actually turned out well because of the way I drive. But anyway, I made 207 whp and 188 wtq. Jan said I had a really strong car. The tune really has made the car sooo much better. It just pulls and pulls and pulls. I can't thank you enough Jan. It was a great experience and it was good to see you down in Rochester . Hope to see you again sometime.

Thanks Alex
Keep that big on your face. Remember to clean-up the burnout marks on the road.

I don't think my smile is coming off for a long time . Those burnout marks were accidental. I only spun a bit in 1st . It was fun hanging out with you guys. I'll definitely be coming to eksten for any work on my mini.

That was a cool shop. Seeing all those BMW race cars there was fun, and reassuring to me; knowing that they're kind of foreign car specialists.

If Jan returns again, I'd probably come up to at least visit... (Cough: new head: cough)

just kidding...
