I know Jan takes credit cards. I'll ask him today. He's calling before he leaves Ca. today. I pick him up @ 4:00 PM so I'll post up tonight or before when we talk.

If jaynicholson wants to stay at 3:00 PM the 1:30 slot is open. If not it would be later. But yas we have one slot open. Let me know.

Jan would prefer not to use a credit card if possible. He will as last resort.

Alright, looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow! I'll be around SPD's/Eksten's around 10, maybe a bit earlier. I'll bring everything needed to swap injectors and belts. If anyone else needs any weird tools post up before tomorrow morning and I'll see if I can help ya out.

BTW, My name is Adam and I'll probably be wearing a grey Stance Design t-shirt.

Wait, so does Jan want cash or a check or what... I figured Eksten's would swipe the card and pay him.

the only problem I see with them swiping the card for Jan is that it will look like they made 3500 in Labor chages that they will have to report as income.

Randy Webb used to take an impression of your credit card and charge it when he got home. Maybe Jan does the same? I guess we'll find out today.

Wow, not much of a delta of change for you, Mark, but who freakin' cares, with a baseline like that!!! I'm absolutely astonished by that!

Your car was reeeely strong, right from the get-go. That is nuts! I'm sure with a new belt, you'll get more out of the tune...

What a fun way to spend the afternoon, huh?

Here's my official results, "corrected" (whatever that means) at-the-wheels numbers:

BASELINE RUN (approximately 65˚F ambient temperature, DYNO-MAX 2000 "Pro"):
Peak HP: 188.6 HP @ 6600 RPM
Peak Torque: 178.8 ft.-lbs.

FINAL TUNE RUN:
Peak HP: 201.5 HP @6841 RPM
Peak Torque: 187.7 ft.-lbs.

DELTAS:
HP gain: 12.9
Torque gain: 8.9

I do feel that my car has more cojones, especially down low in the rev range, but it is a bit more subtle than I had hoped. Don't get me wrong, I'm still really happy I attended. Just to see my car up on the dyno was really exhilarating! I've always wondered what she'd pull, and now I know. I'm actually really excited that I broke the 200 HP barrier!

I'm certain that if I had bigger JCW injectors, I'd be in better shape. My dyno chart shows that I'm running out of fuel near the top, (if I'm interpreting what Jan told me correctly). Someday, maybe I'll get some 380's...

Super-big shout outs to Mark, (for the use of his driveway), Jay and Adam for doing most of the work of changing my belt beforehand, to Larry for organizing this event, Jan and to Eksten's Automotive.

What a fun time!

Thanks everyone! JON

+1 on a fun day. Here's my results...

Baseline
Peak HP: 184.5hp @ 6900rpm
Peak Torque: 179.4 ft lbs @ 4300rpm

RMW Tune
Peak HP: 195.9hp @ 6900rpm
Peak Torque: 185.4 ft lbs @ 4200rpm

Deltas
+ 11.4 hp
+ 6 ft lbs

Jan said my car was right where is should be...though I really wouldn't mind if it was "a freak of nature" like Marks! I'm very happy with the results and have to agree with the comments of many happy RMW customers. The vast improvement in power is much more than what the deltas would indicate. It kinda scares me b/c I'm gonna get me a bad speeding ticket if I'm not careful. Thanks to everyone, especially to Jan. I'm still shocked that he came to Rochester.

I was the delta champ of the day...

Before:
162.1 HP
159.7 lb-ft

After
189.5 HP
173.7 lb-ft

Delta
27.4 HP
14 lb-ft

The before curve is less than appealing but the after curve is saweet. 170-173 lb-ft FLAT from 3,000 to 5,000 RPM. :D

Jan,

thanks again. It was good to see you again today at Watkins Glen. Hope you had fun, even though the laps were much slower than you're used to going on a track!

Have fun at the Dragon.

Jon
