Larry,

I PM'd you about switching time slots with Jay Nicholson. I would like his Friday 3:30 time slot, and he can have my Friday 12:00 noon slot.

Since we're both having the same thing done, (tune), we didn't think it would be that big of a deal.

Please let us know.

JON

Also, anyone swapping injector's in SPD's driveway (or anywhere really) should bring some dish soap and get the oil out of your intercooler while it's off. Really easy to do and can increase the efficiency of your IC, especially if you don't have an OCC.

Is this true? Is SPD willing to swap out injectors at his house? I would definitely be willing to pay him. Thanks

LOL noooo I don't work on cars much. I am just offering my driveway as an off-site close place to work on your cars if needed so you don't step on toes over at the garage.

Hey Everyone
We have an opening to fill. If you've thought about this, time is getting near. If you need injectors installed please call Larry at Eksten's to set your appointment. Remember it takes about an hour or a little longer. Please call 1-585-621-8200 ASAP.
Thanks Larry

Ok Guys

I need some help here. I have two spots that have opened for Satuday. If anyone from Friday ( late times) wants to change to Saturday let me know. I need another person for Saturday please. Jan has to pay for his airfare and I need to fill the dyno for Ekstens. If you know anyone get them onboard.

Thanks Larry

Sorry, I would move my session to Saturday if I could, but I only have Friday open...

Joe, looks like it's time to start working on Tom! His Checkmate needs some love from Jan

I know we already have a thread for the tuning session on the WNY website. Are you suggesting something additional?

That sucks, If I could switch I totally would but I have the SCCA test and tune at RIT on Saturday... get my new suspension dialed.

Anyways, I need an alignment so I'm going to see if Ekstens can do it sometime before my tune... maybe they can count that as some sort of credit towards the dyno time.

As far as swapping injectors goes, I did mine this weekend so I can and will do other cars. I'll try to show up at SPD's driveway (PM me some directions, homes.) for a bit and see if anyone is doing it. It's really not hard at all. You guys will need [paper] towels and WD40. I'll figure out when I'll be available and post up.

I guess people are going to start showing up at my house around 10am. I think there are 3 or 4 people doing injectors. LOL

oh and when pulling into my driveway be careful. The whole thing is getting torn out and replaced in a few weeks and there is a little dropoff at the end.

That's cool, I have an alignment appointment at Craig's Autometrics at 7:50am Only thing I could find on short notice. I'll stop by your driveway/Ekstens after that.

My tune isn't until 4:30 so, I'll be available to do injectors all day... so if anyone wants help come find me, you can't miss my car... all black MCS.

I'll switch to Sat @ 3:00 if it helps.

Jonnieoh, don't worry, I'll still be there on Friday with your SC belt swap.

BTW, as a reminder, Jonnieoh and I already swapped spots on Friday. So we have an opening at noon on Friday.

lol hmmm should I sell beer or pop at my driveway party?? Wait...I'll grill some red hots.
Is everyone bringing the things they need to do their swaps etc.? If not let me know what tools you need and I will have them out. My garage sorting didnt happen as much as I had hoped as it was a beautiful weekend for top down motoring. Right up to the point where my driver side door stopped opening from the inside........

The only tools needed for swapping the injectors are a T30 torx bit and a 13mm ratchet... I think, might be T27 and 14/15mm though. I'll bring my torx set and some sockets. But like I've said, paper towels, WD40 and dish soap are all highly recommended.

SPD, I've heard about the driver's door problem before... we can tear into it on Friday if you want. It's probably just a loose clip.

I had the door apart but didnt know what to look for. I would rather fix the clip instead of driving to Buffalo Saturday to have it fixed. Maybe I will tear it apart in the AM

Jon,

I ran it by Tom. He would rather wait until he adds some mods to it before considering a tune. Running completely stock at this time.
