Just got back from Pronto Muffler in Plano,TX. They did a great job and gave me a good price. My total was $727 out the door. Not to bad! It sounds great and looks just as good. I really haven't had a chance to test it out much, but once the rpms get up around 3500 - 4000 the it sound soooo good. Much better then stock.

Jeremy also said that if any one was interested he could get you a Borla "sport", Borla, or MagnaFlow for $600 plus shipping. Check out thier web site:

Flowfaster

Local guys can just call Jeremy at Pronto in Plano,TX.

1 million mile warranty.

It sound the same or maybe just a little louder then stock. I could drive forever and it would never bother me. It could actually be a little louder and still wouldn't bug me. If you are looking for something slightly louder then stock and with out drone, then maybe Borla would be a good system for you. I myself have my wife and daughter that ride with me, so loudness was a big issue for me. I want something a little more aggressive then stock, thats why I went with Borla.

Is that a Borla or a Borla sport? Also does anyone know what the difference is between a Borla and a Borla sport?

>>I would like to comment on Pronto Muffler and in particular, Jeremy. I purchased my exhaust through them and I'm very pleased with the service I received.
Jeremy was very professional and went out of his way to help me out. Even when I had trouble with shipping, Jeremy rectified the situation for me no questions asked.
I recommend these guys wholeheartedly and if I ever need another exhaust, they will be my first choice.

As for the exhaust, I was initially disappointed as it seemed as I had lost HP after the install. As I've continued driving it the last few days, it seems as if it's working much better. The seat of pants meter notices a big increase around 6K and the sound is much improved over stock. Been driving around with the windows down the whole time. Personally, the exhaust is as loud as I would ever want.

Is that from personal experience?

The Borla Sport has smaller mufflers and thats about the only difference I believe.

Actually, it was. Mini of Sterling had one rigged up with an intake, ecu and borla sport. Great car just way too loud for me.

From the sound clips I've heard, the Borla sport sounds great - for a race track. Really. It is loud...almost fart-can loud. I personally wouldn't want to turn MINI into one of "those"

I have had both the Magnaflow and the Borla on my car and checked the power on the GTech. In both cases I got ZERO power increase immediately after the install but the power grew over the first week while the ECU adjusted. In the end I have 10hp with the Magnaflow and 5hp with the Borla.

Any HP gain differences between the two?

The Sport not only has smaller mufflers, it has larger tips too. It's also lighter and better flow design. And it's not that loud. It sound like what the S should've sounded like from the factory.

Christal said the Borla Sport was loud, but to me loud is a race car. I don't think the Borla Sport is really going to be so loud that I won't be able to bear it.

Silver - send me your pictures to tgmilner@earthlink.net and I'll set you up.

If they still have the all indi blue setup, you can find out for yourself. I found it loud and loud at every rpm. You can drown it out with the HK, but if you ever want to hold a conversation with someone in your car then I don't think its a very practical suggestion. If you don't consider a riced out Honda loud then you probably won't have any trouble with it. Of course, I found the stock RSX-S too loud for cockpit conversations.

I got into the car thinking it was a regular Borla and then when they told me it was a Sport it made a lot more sense. I was pretty confused thinking that was a regular Borla.
