Hi there,
here is a question from Greece about Alta PnP.
It is now released in Greece.
The average R56s in Greece in Maha dynos, is about 188-192 hp with 260-280 nm of torque.
I plan to install a package that is offered by a vendor here that contains the ALTA PnP, the Alta FMIC and the ALTA CAI.
The expected horsepower that is announced is about 216 hp.
I would like to ask you if you consider this number logic, because to me it seems a little bit small, here is why.
The R56s is running with 0,8 psi current pressure and 1,0 overboost.
The pressure will be increased to 1,2 psi cr with 1,4 overboost.
Is this pressure "acceptable" by the engine?
I plan to install this package, so I would really appreciate you opinion.

you won't get 216hp.
I have those exact three mods. PnP, FMIC and CAI. You'll have plenty power to have alot of fun though!
here is my dyno (uncorrected - sea level, at the wheels):

I think he could get pretty close. I hit 210 without the FMIC. I just installed tne FMIC and it is definately faster.
Sorry, my mistake.
All numbers that I mention are at the crank, not at the wheels.
With the mods you listed, you definitely should get more than 216 at the crank. Also depending on what tune it comes from Alta. MikeyG is was probably maknig around 235 at the crank with the same mods you listed.
I hit 210 at the wheels. I think its totally possible to get 216 at the wheels.
you have more than just the three mods he listed. I have exactly the same mods he listed and got 203 at the wheels. What is that at the crank? Depends on what loss you use. I'm probably well over 216 at the crank. Since nobody reallys knows what correction to use for the crank, ATW is a better measurement. Besides, the crank doesn't touch the road.

for most FWD cars it is between 10-15%
I would probably stick closer to 10% than 15% on the mini
the alta girls said i would have my pnp shipped out this week. i have a homemade cai and was just wondering about your setup because we are close to the same mods less the full boost tubes. would like to up it to the dp and the intercooler later on. still wondering if i should take off my big true flow cai and go with the alta cai . i like the way its built. just dont want to send back the pnp very time i change a mod or add one unless its something big like the dp.
If there are 2 maps on each PnP there's no reason I couldn't get one programmed for the parts I have and the parts I will get later (since I won't be routing the toggle to the inside and have no need for a "valet" or stock setting)
