if you mean you want to put a cooper exhaust on an s you'll have to change the rear valance so the tip will be on the passenger side vs center out

will the gains be the same? sold my supersprint catback from my R50 to a fellow R50 owner in the club, considering buying it back for my R53.

I don't see why the gains would be different. I'm pretty sure the S and Non S use the same diameter exhaust pipe. It would definitely be lighter.

how about muffler design? isn't the design for MC exhausts different from MCS exhausts since MCS owners need less backpressure? (please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)

i think muffler design is usually for sound quality and control. Also the MCS come with 2 resonators while the MC comes with 1. That would mean the MCS has more back pressure.
