Jan,

Good to talk to you again. Are those going to be for RMW head application only?

Would it be cost effective to have those in for those that have had a larger cam in already like myself?

This is really cool.
Cams are not that hard to replace.

I'm sure you'll let us know.

"We ran the 380's to over 250WHP on my car before running out of fuel at around 7k. They should be more then OK. Jan can comment on your AFR.

Longboard"

With the Rotrex, less hp is used to run the blower, so less fuel is needed for the same amount of HP. Plus, as Jan mentioned, less fuel to cool the intake due to the Rotrex efficiency. With M45, the 440's are needed. I did.

Power is not the only thing you get if you have an 03, like me. My stock tune made the throttle hang up when letting off the gas. I previously had an MTH tune on it which I thought lost a little power but it eliminated the throttle hang up and desensitized the DSC. I lived with the slightly less power due to those driveability issues.

Jan was able to get bunches more power plus elimination of the dreadful throttle hang up, plus even more DSC desensitization.

239 hp & 190 ft lb tq. (RMW head here)

RMW - No bling, no bull Just results

Can you tell us anything about the lift and duration for intake and exhaust or would you have to kill me afterward?

at this point, killing would be mandatory

Or....

You've done the work to figure out what works, please give me the specs so I can go get my own ground and beat you to market.

Since your being so generous Jan, can I also have the file to give to my machine shop for the head.

Im curious about this cam, seems like its for the modder that cant afford a custom head for 2k but is looking to find another mod to boost HP. What is the average cost to have just a cam installed, if you cant do it yourself? If your saving and planning to get a head in the future, is it cost effective to buy this cam and install it, or just wait till you get the head and better cam and same time?

Charlie,
labor pricing is different everywhere. Obviously if you change the cam when you change the head there shouldn't be a charge for this as you have to pull the cam anyways. Once we finish the testing we will be able to answer the rest of your questions

This thread makes me wish I still lived in California. Anyone know if Detroit Tuned offers a similar kind of service?

What service do you mean. Wasn't Jan just up in the Detroit area a few weeks ago for tuning?
