pop sound when i first touch the gas pedal !!

i noticed right after i did the 15% pulley that i have a sound like gas igniting when i first step on the gas pedal from a stop. it will do it most of the time , cold or warm . i did go to the cooler spark plugs at the same time i did the pulley. i asume it is because the car is running lean ?
the car has a cold air intake , 15% pulley , cat back alta exhaust , obx header goes on tomorrow.
should i be doing my ecu flash to correct the problem ? i had plans on doing it next spring , but i do not want to cause dammage if i leave it like this for to long.
i also run 94 octane gas .

Does it do it while braking? I have a noise like this that does it under braking, when I first touch the gas pedal, and sometimes when I start the car up. I haven't figured out what it is though. I had a 17% pulley on for quite a while before the noise started. The dealer heard it and suspected it was a brake pad knocking around, but I'm not sold on that.

Maybe a local dyno could diagnose what is going on. They have all kinds of computers and sensors they can read while the car does its thing.

i do not know of any shops here on vancouver island that have a dyno. i guess i should go to the dealer and have them plug it in ... but they are not happy with any mods on cars, they may not help me at all .

I would find out information from people around your area about a performance shop that has dyno access. Then, contact them and get it on there. Have them check your AFR's and see where they are at. I believe that some of the guys around here(MSFITOY, gnatster, and many many others ) keep their AFR's right about 11. But PM them to check it out. You could also contact them company that you bought the pulley from and find out information from them. Or get in contact with some one like Jan form RMW, Randy from Webb Motorsports, Randy from m7, etc... Just check out the vendor directory here on NAM.
