I have climate controle on my mini and the air con isnt comeing on.Ive emptied the system when we took the motor out,but have had it profeshionaly refilled .There is power going to the pump and a aircon specialist basicaly hooked my car up to his fault find computor and said that when he press'es the aircon button in the car his computor shows the signal being sent to the ECU to switch the aircon on but the ECU is saying no it wont do it.I had new JCW software flashed onto my ECU to go with the replacment engine but i cant see why its not working.The only thing i havent yet checked which he has told me to ,is the presure switch.Other than that does the aircon need to be recoded in by a main dealer .

I just burned my main radiator fan out(got some debris stuck so it couldn't turn.) I noticed that the AC wouldn't work. When I looked it up in the Bentley manual they said that there are two relays for the fan, a low speed(located in the fuse box under the bonnet) and a high speed(located on the fan shroud). When you turn ont he AC there is a pressure switch that turns on the radiator fan via the relays. 8 bar for low speed and 18 bar for high speed. If that switch or the fan/relays don't work correctly the AC turns off.
