Where in the hell can you find instructions for the install. I have looked but cannot find them anywhere. Thank you, Jeff

Took me a little over an hour. I wanted to make sure I didn't screw anything up so I read a re-read the instructions carefully. It was pretty straightforward. I would recommend taking off the IC cover as its gives you a little extra room to work. Good luck.

how do you like the sound. At what rpm does the SC whine start?

It starts around 3k. It's pretty pronounced if you're accelerating hard but not so noticeable otherwise. Overall I'm pleased.

DDM CAI

I also installed one this weekend. What noise! What power! It also fixed a hesitation problem I was having around 2000rpm during start off. I just hope I can keep my foot out of it....

A question came to me while going through a downpour. How does water stay out of it since it uses the windshield vent for an air inlet?

This isn't a concern for many reasons. First, hydrolock is only a possibility when a large quantity of water is able to the combustion chamber. Second, on an MCS that water would have to survive the heat of the supercharger and then pass through the intercooler. This is not very likely. Third, a little bit of water/moisture in the intake system can actually be good because it will cool the air. Water injection systems are designed around this law of physics. Check the link...

ok I just got my car back from the shop with the DDM M7 CAI along with an IC and a SS install. I have to say that the sound is completely different than my 3.5 years old Ultrik air filter was.

At full throttle there is a air sucking sound that is very pronounced as in like: ssssssssp, as if it's sucking huge amount of air then the SC whine takes over.

Is this normal?
