I can't speak for Hubie for sure, but I think the Cali-crap pump gas was used. Pretty impressive results even if it was on race gas though!

So the Mary head beats the stock head hands down even at low rpm and matches the GP numbers all the way to 5200 where it then leaves the JCW / GP head for dead

So you could summise that the JCW ex ports are good to that point then the superior flow of the intake and exhaust on the Mary head takes over.

The stock vehicle made 158.40WHP at the same RPM point.

Next, we replaced the stock cylinder head with our Fireballed! Stage Three Race Head and returned to the dyno a few hours later.

With only a cylinder head change, "MARY" mustered an incredible 202.98WHP at redline which equates to a whopping 33.51WHP increase!! in peak WHP.

As a reference, using the GP data at 7100 RPM:

stock mini: 158.40WHP
stock mini GP: 178.48WHP
stock mini w/Fireballed! Stage 3 Cyl Head: 196.36WHP

An incredible 37.96WHP increase with only a cylinder head change.

To our knowledge, we believe this is the most peak WHP a stock MINI has ever made with just a cylinder head change.
Obviously, dyno numbers are relative and we only concern overselves with deltas and accumulating test data, but we like every true enthusiast, get excited at achieving certain benchmarks.

Next Up..........custom camshaft.
Ok wait a minute, a stock Mini putting out 170 WHP? Are you sure? I wish mine started out there. Is this a typo?

I belive that their "stock baseline" was the 2002 Mini S, which shows that it got up to 169.47 WHP. Then they tested a GP, and it went to 178.48 WHP at 7100 rpm. They then re-tested the "stock baseline" at 7100 rpm, and it put out 158.4 WHP. Or am I not reading this correctly?

So far we have never installed one on a cooper or even a stage 2 for that matter. It doesnt seem that cooper owners are wanting to spend the $ for stuff like heads and such.

We would love to see what it will do on a cooper but the only cooper we have access to is a cvt. :(

I am sure I can work out a special deal for someone with a cooper willing to have the head installed and do some testing.

Oh...is this where I'm supposed to chime in?!?....lol. Hmm...I wouldn't mind having a head but I'll be swapping to a MCS block soon and starting the build from there. If it will suit what Im tring to accomplish....I might be down. I just need to hash it out with Hubie for advice. Just have to talk to the Mrs.

You're not the only one, Richard.

Fireballed! Peeps: May I kindly and respectfully request that you find an alternate title for your little project? Thanks!
