I would of thought you would be happy with all the extra hits you'll be getting on your web site.

How many people live on this planet??

How many Paul Webster are out there?? loads of course , thats just the way it is.

Longboard christened his Rotrex project as Project X, to me there is only one Project X (but I'm sure there's loads)and thats Shannon Wrens 64 nova with leaf springs and 2000hp twin turbo small block Chevy

I am sure I can work out a special deal for someone with a cooper willing to have the head installed and do some testing.

the city where i live is a very cool place to live Antwerp, Belgium.... why dont u come here start up a european base and work on my car in the meanwhile. .... Fireballed goes international !!

sounds good hé

First of all i would like to say congrats on the head and the impressive numbers you guys layed down. Great work!

But i was wondering, does anyone know the RPM limit of this head's valvetrain? Or is this head still being tested?

9-10k? Although that may make the supercharger spin too fast?

Also what kind of materials are being used for the valvetrain? chromoly? titanium? stainless steel vavles? 3 angle or 5 angle valve job?

Will there be options or will the head only be built one specific way? If it will be built only one way do you have the parts list that will be included with the head?

Or is all this way to early to be asking?

Ok, why am I have a hard time reading this? Why are all the numbers not matching up? A stock Mini S puts out 158-159 WHP? Are they not rated at 163 bhp from thr factory? Then a stocker first puts out 169 WHP at 7100 rpm then they say it does only 154 WHP? Well what is it? Fireballed guy's are we talking WHP or BHP. I'm hoping these numbers are all correct, because if we can get 193 WHP with just a head, wow that would be a great starting point .

Those are surprising deltas for a stocker MCS. Not surprising as in I don't believe you but surprising as in, holy crap that's great!

What seems odd to me is the GP didn't do better. So it looks like an MCS base+head+15% pulley will likely have better numbers than a GP+head? What does that say for the tuning on a GP and the JCW exhaust?

Oh cam data is coming! Woohoo!!! Thanks for sharing your results!

Well, it IS copyrighted... I don't think I'm being unreasonable or a PITA. I'm just asking for something simple like The "MARY" Project instead of the other way around. I'm getting lots of emails.

Actually, I should probably elaborate a bit more. 1.) I have done (and still do) business under this name (we even have our own racing team) and 2.) ProjectMary is closely linked to another modifier here in Texas. It doesn't bode well for them or me if people think I'm partnering up with Fireballed!, even though I'm sure they do excellent work.

How can you guys even argue with GBMiniGirl?

She could probably take FBT to court, and win, if she has copyrights.

Sounds to me like, someone came across her Project Mary tag on forum or MINI related activiy, and liked the name.

In some cases, one would usually be flattered by this. But in business... you just cannot do that.

I highly doubt the Fireballed! guys had any clue about her project and any copyright issues. I am sure it is all unintentional......

On the other side of the coin, Fireballed could take issue with the statement on the PM website that their tuner has built the 2 fastest MINIs in the US. They didn't built Justin's (isellem) car, the Widow, or the M600......three of the fastest I know of, not counting mine.

Huh? I believe I said the three fastest BMWs....2 of which have been documented/published in BIMMER magazine (The article didn't include their latest 780 hp beast).

Anyway, I'm sure it wasn't intentional. That's why I've asked nicely for them to consider an alternate. Why am I the one being persecuted here?

'fer cryin' out loud. GBMiniGirl was there first with the name. I am sure Fireball did not try to infringe intentionally, but if it's taken then it's taken. Change it and lets move on.

And slightly off topic: what's with this trend of naming your cars/projects after biblical names? Jesus, Mary, Moses... I am not at all religious, but damn.. were there no other ideas?

Matt, you should never assume. Believe me we didnt intend to name the project anything similar to anything anyone else was doing.

We are working on a name change as a good faith gesture. we are definitely not here to **** people off or cause problems..You should know that though.

Dont make me come over there! LOL

The choosing of the name Mary I am sure was not by accident or random in any way. As biblical references have already been used within the market place this was the perfect way to point out the genealogy of certain products. Many know that without Mary there would be no Jesus As for infringing on another site perhaps a slight modification could be worked out but it would be a shame to let the true meaning be lost.

How about Project: Mother Mary?

The Mother Mary head?

The MM head for short?

The Holy Moly head?

I dunno the list could go on and on, but im still waiting for someone to speak of the rev limit of this heads valvetrain.

Lets clear this up once and fall all, I was the one who came up with the name "Mary" yes all the way over here in the Uk where I had no Idea that a Mary Quant signture limited editon Mini was sitting in Katy Texas with a web site named after it www.projectmary.com

Yes it was named as a bit of fun with regards to the Jesus head as its always nice to have a laugh as Minis are about having fun;aren't they??

Some people just take things to another level, luckly all the Fireballed crew want to do is take the Mini horsepower to the next level.

PS I think a good lawyer would get you off though because of the " used in the title
