My question for Jan is - which way would you direct people who want "THE STREET CAR" ? Perhaps its premature but would you direct them to the ROTEX kit or a full done RMW set-up (i.e. head, cam, ect...... w/ eaton).

I love it as a street setup right now. That's without the tune. I drove around last weekend having a blast with the car. I gave Dale from Voltage a drive through the canyon and his comment was "this thing pulls hard". I agree.
This is how the car feels right now.
idle to 3K it pulls like a 15% car.
3k to 5k it pulls a lot harder then my old 232 WHP set up.
5K to 8k it kills my old set up. It never stops pulling until redline.
Like I said, the above is the way car feels without a tune. hopefully Jan can pick it up while I'm away this week to tune it..
Right now I have the stock cam in the car. The best part about the new cam is that not only does it help down low but it helps across the whole range. Later this month Jan has another item to test that could really make things interesting.
As it stands right now I wouldn't go back to the Eaton for anything. I have been very open about this project (some times to open) and will continue to be till the end.
For you local guys, you are more them welcome to contact me for a demo .

Longboard
As soon as I get my car to smog and registered I will plan a trip down there soon. I have a "Service Engine light soon" that has to do with a pump leak in the charcoal canister that is connected to the exhaust which was replaced and still is throwing code. My car is back in the shop to get it fixed again for the 2nd time.
But when I do get it fixed and come down there perhaps we can swap cars.

Longboard will be at the April 18th Streets of Willow track day, I presume final testing will take place during the track day (Jan wanted to get some track time on the kit I'm sure). Shouldn't be long now .
Longboard has been in Holland and is back now, he has been running the car with no problems since its back from the fab shop. Things fit like they should and we will soon go to production after the final numbers are done.

This is very interesting news - if there is no or little low end sacrifice then it could be for the street guy. That was my concern that it would sacrifice too much for the street guy but pay off big for the track guy.
