I'm starting to suspect that ken owns some Swiss trust that itself owns some corporation in the Caymans that happens to hold the patent on whatever the secret ingredient in Hydro is - and that Nick and Heather don't even know it - and that he's getting a quarter outta every bottle...

I've got a Hydro question - I have a feeling I know the answer.

It sounds like its no problem to put Hydro over your vinyl stripes and other graphics, unlike conventional waxes. With the drying process I'm not sure how you would ever keep it off them. So am I correct?

My Prima products arrived, but I need to wait until Memorial Day weekend for my first two layers of Epic. I was in two fender benders and had to replace the front and rear bumpers as well as the bonnet.....no chemicals for eight weeks. However, I did apply a layer of Slick on the unpainted areas over my layers of Zaino and the shine appears to be a bit deeper and certainly, smoother. I also used Nero on the interior vinyl, wheel arches, etc. and the tires. I like what I see.

Also, when I get to the Epic should I first wash with Dawn to get rid of the existing layers as Zaino recommends, or can I use Mystique?

 

herby- try some Griot's Paint Prep to remove old wax. just do a 50/50.

 

Just for you ken... I Hydro'd my MINI purse that I carry to the dragon. It is made from a car tag & chrome hub covers. It needed a good cleaning so I Hydro'd it & it looks shiney & new

i hydro'ed my red trash cans a few months back and they still look
super deep and wet.

For 2 years I had a website & sold cigar box purses as DumBlonde Creations. The lady that makes these tag purses by Littlearth stumbled upon my website & emailed me wanting to trade one of mine for one of hers so I got this purse made from the actual car tag off my old car in the swap


Later on I ordered a plain British Flag purse from her & I put MINI emblem & the Swarovski crystals on it myself to save moolah to make my MINI purse. Her purses are pricey but they are very well made. She does state tags, collegiate & pro tags, & also you can mail her a tag & have it done. If you can swing it I recommend getting the version with the crystals on them (the ones with "flair" in the name), they run $100 more but she uses Swarovski crystals & man they are stunning It's hard to get a good pic that shows how much all the crystals sparkle.

 

Thanks for the info, Dear. Roxanne knows of Littlearth. In fact, she says she bought one of her purses from them. She'll probably take your advice and get the one with the crystals on it. I think I'll have a job to do when that purse arrives (putting the MINI Wings on it).

By the way, what happened to the Idol thread ? Tonight's show was pretty darn good so maybe it's time to revive it.

 

I didn't see the Union Jack purse like mine listed on the website. They had one in the "fender flair" design so they must still have the tags. MBE she can contact them & see if they will still do one of the cyclones with the crystals. I got my MINI wings off of EBay

They do have this one so MBE they have the tags on hand & can still do a Union Jack cyclone version Oooooooh they have a checkered version?? Say it isn't so. I don't need to spend any more money but I will have to have it.

Nope, they don't have a checkered version. But I'm thinking they could custom make one for her. Maybe if we ask them to make two, they'll discount the price.
