HYDRO!!
much much deeper in color as expected.
it is a beautiful finish.
even my blue civic is so wet and glossy looking... just reminds me of how
Epic was but so much easier for me to use.
the lazyman's Epic? lol
also i like using Hydro over my plastic sidesills in the door jams. it just
dresses those black trims up so well.
i also want to remind everyone how great Nero is (dressing for door
panels, dash, etc). while i was using Clarity yesterday i countlessly
hit the door panel with my shoes cause i was lazy and knowing how
well nero protects plastic i didnt' worry one bit that i was going to
scuff and leave shoe marks. and i didnt.
with all these high efficiency products i think im going to be like the
super lazyarse detailer. people come up to me asking, damn ken how
much time do you spend on your cars every weekend? im like '30-35min.'
hahaha!!

Hydro is the best!!! Keeping swirls and fine scratches from a black car is almost impossible but for some reason (dragon magic or something) when I spray Hydro on CHKMINI and dry with a waffle weave towel (also from DP) she looks great
Zip
Ok, my Hydro just arrived. You guys and your stupid thread forced me to order it!
Question. From reading through the thread, you basically use Hydro on everything. On glass, does it give an effect similar to Rain-X type products?
Thanks,
Randy

i spray one panel, do a quick wipe down, then go onto the next panel.
you dont want Hydro air drying by itself cause you will need to re-spray
the area.... just wastes more product. there is no issues removing
dried up hydro... you can just remist and you're okay... but why waste
product?

Thanks for the clarification. It sounds like Hydro needs to be applied every few washings. From your experience, how often would you recommend applying Epic and how many coats each time?
because sheesh
if you have to apply 2 coats a month you need a new wax
I put Epic on last October and just stripped and re-applied during the last half of March. It was still there and doing what it is paid to do, however I had a free weekend and a car show coming up so I did it.
Hydro can be used, sparingly, after every wash. It is designed to enhance the longevity of Epic and boost the shine. You're right about not being intended as the only protection (now would someone please tell kenchan that).

Shhh, don't put DP out of business...
