So am I correct to assume that if one is using Hydro no additional waxing is needed? Still kind of confused at the concept of a spray on as your dry wax, sounds too easy to be true.
IMHO you should still do a major detail a few times a year & apply a full coat of wax. Then use Hydro when washing to keep things perfect
I love gallons. I have Mystique, Clarity, Slick, and now Hydro all in gallons
Oh yea, so do I but I also have a gallon of Nero! So there! (I am in the process of reoganizing my garage storage...for now I have gallon jugs just about everywhere! )

Hmmmmmmmmm.... I don't know if I would Hydro every time I wash. I wash the MINIs so often, I'm afraid I'd have a half inch of wax build by the time my 6-month major detailing date came around.

hmmmm that's good to know. I just used Hydro for the 1st time a few weeks ago & I am debating not using carnauba over the Klasse twins when I detail & switching to Hydro so I can apply it between my major details. I dunno though I love my carnauba but I didn't realize the Hydro was that strong.
tt, That was more of a question than a definitive statement. I've not used the Hydro YET, so I'm just assuming I wouldn't want to use it that often. I wash the MINIs every week so I'd worry about having too much wax build up from the Hydro if I used it *that* often. I'm thinking once every third wash, or so.

MBE Heather or OG will chime in & let us know I figure I can try the Hydro instead of my carnauba when I break out the PC & if I don't like it as much I can carnauba over it in a few weeks
Heather at DP told me that Hydro'ing on every wash is way overkill, assuming one has a true wax layer. I used Hydro for about three straight washes after a layer of Epic was put on. My thought was to build up a good base. Now I plan to Hydro once a month or so (or even less if the weather is mild). Note I live in a sunny and dusty climate...so YMMV.
i think like-like chemicals break down each other causing it to actually
level off after subsequent applications...meaning, it is similar to 2 coating
a wax to get consistency, not so much a stack on top of each other to
the point your MINI's as big as a Hummer in a few weeks. lol
