Detailing ideas for your garage
no, not yet.
i was planning to do it over my 4day weekend, but not sure if it's going to happen. i was working on my cars though, today.
i need to get my **** over to HomeDepot this week.
got another 4 day weekend coming up, so going to aim for that.
CR&PW&JB, How is the Racedeck tiles as far as do they hold up well to floor jacks and doing mechanical repairs and such? I am leaning toward them but I'm way over budget so I need to stock up on money.
So I'll research like a fool till I can get that job done.

Now... I'm careful when I place the jack stands to not put one of the feet right on the edge of one of the raised circles. Small PITA, yeah, but worth the effort, IMO.
So, where is yours if you liked that pattern so much ??
hahaha... yah, i decided not to get mine yet since my concrete is still looking pretty clean.

woooo~!
WOW Lots of activity in this thread. Haven't been here in awhile.
Ok so it is time to do my floor and I was all set to go with epoxy but thinking of race deck. My floor isn't the best so I am wondering how it would come out. I might just call them today.

Hey, Jeff... do you mean your floor is cracked and/or chipping ? If your concrete is on poor condition, tiles are an easier option than epoxy. You just put the tiles on top and cover up the imperfections. With epoxy, you'd have to repair the concrete first, of course.
Not much progress this weekend. Sat had to work then came home took down kids old wooden playhouse and mowed grass. Sunday I finally broke out my new PC and Prima'ed up the wifes car. Here are a couple pics she was 1st one I tried so I did Finish then Epic but 1st Black Wow'ed. Loved the results.
Sunday I had to drive to the shore to try to rescue my father in laws Buick that broke down. Water pump on 3800 motor in parking lot.
Not Fun!
So when we got home I ordered another wall hanging cabinet(a twin to the one I have) but not as good as a deal. Had to pay 120.00 including shipping. Oh well overall I've had good fortune so far. From the same company I also ordered 2 different color samples of the Race Deck coin pattern to see it.

I finally got my wife motivated to clean up our dump.........errrr garage. No way my Element is going to be out in the elements while the new baby is tucked into the garage at night. After many trips to the Goodwill and dump to recycle our unused treasures its starting to take shape. She even let my buy a nice new tool chest and some cabinets. Its not going to be pretty but it will be clean and functional. I'll post some pics when done.
I just ordered some BW and Hydro for Nibbler when the Garage build is done.

Ken, Me likes your Griots little tray box thingie
and your efficient use of space! Man, you keep a tidy workspace. Lets get that ceiling attended to!
I've have to get the garage ceiling insulated before things get HOT here. Also need to add a booster fan to the a/c-heater vent cause I don't think it's going to be strong enough without one. I have been using the excuse I'm waiting on the cabinet to come but I'm missing some good weather days here. Maybe tomorrow.
Today washed and Hydro'ed both cars and Black Wowed my MCS. Thought I would do a Home Depot trip but I'm out of gas.

No gunk in the edges. They fit too tightly to allow anything to get in there.
Only a slight PITA to keep clean in the winter when the salt and chemicals drip off the car. And if you let the salt stay there too long, it can leave a stain (learned the hard way but lucky for me, I have a few spare tiles left over from install).
Of course, any floor is going to be a minor PITA to keep clean in the winters around here.
Otherwise, just sweep and mop like you would any floor. You might do it more often with a Race Deck floor because it looks so damn good, you want to keep it looking its best.
Got a new light and installed it. Also picked up the duct fan and the electrical stuff. Hope to have that in by tonight. Here's a couple of pics of the light and one of the MINI's after their bath yesterday.
Over two years since I've had my Race Deck garage flooring.
