I bought a 2.5 gallon pancake compressor from Kragen for $29. I use it at around 60 or 70 psi to blow water from the crevices. It fits in the passenger footwell or the boot very easily.

I;ve been using a leaf blower on my cars for years... Gets off all the excess water... then I use a cloth to finish up... Less rubbing of the paint is a good thing..
