Cleaning the Key

I did a search and couldn't find anything on this. I am just wondering if anybody has any tips on cleaning between the buttons on they key? I may be a little uptight but I would like to get rid of the lint and dirt that has collected in the grooves and I didn't figure any moisture was good for it.

vacuum cleaner

just vacuum it.

If it makes you feel better, some of the gunk accumulating in there is dead skin cells . . . .

Also, you can buy "dental" tools at places like Home Depot as well--they just aren't made out of surgical quality stainless steel. Hobby shops also have them.

I didn't realize how infinitely useful those little picks are, until I got one!

I rotate between my 2 keys every few months, in a senseless just for the heck of it ritualistic way... I always clean up the key that I'm temporarily retiring, before I stow it.

I use Nu-Finish since I only need to wax my key once a year!
