Got the Zaino Z-2 PRO

Just received it in the mail a couple of days ago. Anxious to try the "new and improved" version of the pink polish which is supposed to yield even more shine and dry faster than the previous version .

Anyone used it yet?

I haven't used it yet! I've got 1/3 of a bottle to go...

Does it still smell like cherries? My dogs love the smell of my hands after I work with Z2.

I have been using it for months and love it!

Remember to spread it on VERY thin! Zaino sends out terry covered applicators but I MUCH prefer pure foam applicators which allow a thinner and more even application of the product. This makes for less product waste, faster drying and easier removal.

I had a friend over this week and we were using Z2 Pro and ZFX on his new Acura TL. We clayed the car then applied the Z2. I had my garage thermostat set at about 65 degrees. The Zaino dried in less than 15 minutes. We applied TWO coats to the Acura. We covered every conceivable area on the car including door sills, inside openings and side windows. We didn't even finish up a full ounce. That's HALF a mixing bottle of ZFX!
MORAL: Spread it thin! That's the way it works best.

I always cut the ZFX mixing instructions in half.

Have fun!

BradB , you mean you can put Zaino on the glass .

Just about to order the Zaino kit ,giving it a try over the Klasse method that I went with first of all .
I liked the results very much .

Where do you NOT put the Zaino product ?

I put Zaino on the side windows and rear. It doesn't last on the front windshield because of the constant abrading of the wipers.

Also, just as a technical note...when I had my windows freshly tinted they didn't go up and down very well because of the added friction between the film and the interior rubber seals. I Zainoed the film on the interior windows and it made them so slick that the windows shot up and down MUCH faster. My electric motors should last much longer!

Zaino can go just about everywhere except soft or porous rubber.

Zaino Z-6 works pretty well on the windows. I have the Zaino glass polish too, but it leaves a bit of a residue. The tire gloss supposedly works well on the wheel arches but I've not tried it yet. Planning to paint my arches and side skirts black to keep the contrast but make them much easier to clean.

I use the Zaino leather cleaner (my car has Space Cloth) on the dash and door panels. Works pretty well.

"Whenever you layer Z-2 PRO™, you must activate it with ZFX"

Hmm. So Z2Pro REQUIRES ZFX. I've been using Z2 for years without ZFX and have had no problems, and certainly didn't want to spend the $20 on ZFX. I wonder what they changed to make it dependent? Sorry, suspicions rising.

Actually that has always been the case. The use of Z1 or ZFX will help Z2 /Z2 Pro bond to the surface of the paint or previous layers better.
