I'm No "OCTANEGUY".. 740i Claybar/Wax/hand buff

Although I am an amature perfectionist.. I am increasing my products (for personal use) and plan on adding Prewow and BlackWow to the arsenal..

I thought I would share my Mild Detail I started today on my 13 year old 740i.. I still need to finish the detail on the interior which I will post images of tomorrow, and I need to do the interior windows.. Basically the insides of the wheels and wheelwells need some help, but I am about 50% done with the job.. I did however do a bang up job on the BRAND NEW 2010 MCS we just bought.. I look forward to keeping the MCS looking like new.

Meguiar's Direct Deep Crystal Car Wash
Microfiber Washcloth
Microfiber Dry cloth
Mother's Quick Detailer Spray
Mother's Claybar
Mother's Microfiber Cloth
Meguiar's Cleaner Wax on Microfiber applicator
Microfiber Applicator to remove wax haze
California Duster to remove dust
Microfiber applicator to detail body seams ect.
Stoner Glass Cleaner
Stoner More Shine Tire Dressing

Basically I have been wanting to claybar the car since January and kept putting it off, but after seeing the MINI Cooper S with it's shiney red paint, I couldn't not get the paint back to like new.. I had many fine scratches and swirls and now the car is as flawless as possible without a respray..

I will add more pictures when I finish up..

Pretty. Black is such a rewarding color to detail!

Forget the Mini and the BMW, more on that RX7! Car does look really good though.

The Rx7 is a 10th Anniversary (1 of 1500) and in currently under construction, it is getting a rebuild on the engine... It deserves the same respect I give the other cars.. SHould be finished including paint by spring..

Great cars. I'd love to have one but the miata is close enough for me without the rotary.

Thanks folks.. I am trying to find a good product to remove the haze on the "woodgrain" on the interior. If anyone has suggestions that would be awesome.

Great job! Tell me more about this "haze". Have you tried waxing it with Hydro or using a good QD like Prima Slick?

Is this haze something that goes away after wiping only?

Is this haze make the woodgrain look cloudy? Maybe it needs to be polished?

Show us some pix of what you are trying to fix.
