ok, back on topic please?

I left the MINI in the garage today and drove the Jeep to work...it's raining out and I didn't want to ruin a clean car

 

Can I still join? I drive a green Jetta that goes out 3 miles of dirt road, add fog on top of that and the car is never clean for more than a day. I am looking at a PW clubman because it is the same color as the dirt.

 

I wash my car about twice a year. I also clay and wax at the same time, but I let the rain take care of business in between. But I should definitely get the award because I did my bi-annual wash/wax about 2 months ago, and I still have white s**t all over my trim. I'm too lazy to mask off the trim, and I ran out of time, so I didn't get to treat the trim. No time to tackle this problem until my next wash/wax in about 4 months!

 

Just got back from California - glanced over at my new rain dirty 09 JCW - went to watch Big Brother 10 - Tivo is all gunked up and locking up.

Since I've been gone for close to a week figured I'd needed to drive the JCW to make sure it was ok (since I have horrible luck). I am pleased to report dirt and gunk do not impact the JCW. I went rip roaring through the tunnel under the Capitol with exhaust blaring, burping, farting and popping all with a dirty car.

I could care less. I'm glad I'm home to my dirty JCW.
